BEHIND THE SCENES (BTS)
• Dominate the HDR making for simplifying and improving scene making - DONE!
1. Organizing workflow and plan to be able to have a full release in a month instead of weekly parts of a comic (for CT and GD chapters)
2. Convert the texture of the characters to iRay - no ETA - Will do slowly - 60% done, (166 base models total, including versions of characters) CT ALL OK (56 chars) / DV 43 chars OK / GD 1 chars OK
3. Convert the scenes to iRay - No ETA - ??% - will do slowly - I have too much scenes in my folders, couldn't count it exactly
4. Being able to work with the render engine iRay "freely" about 95% - still learning and fine tuning, but I'm comfortable working with it already
5. Boring Sad Maintenance - 50% - ongoing, it is never 100% but I set a good foot at it back in the day and this weekend I did some more.
6. Complete the scripts for the universes integration - This is a tricky one... I've been very absorbed into making renders and dealing with iRay, I need to make a full stop one of these days and set it, so I can finish the first season of Giantess Dream and increase the pace of releases.

THE TALK
I'm overjoyed by the results of last month's work.
Thanks to your support at my Patreon and/or buying my comics at my SITE, I've been able to invest heavily on the migration of my stories to the dream status: I'm rendering my comics in iRay and my characters never looked prettier!
In the beginning, it was very complicated, I was having huge challenges daily, but now, I've finally feel at ease with it: less bugs, less re-renders and a better feeling of what I am able to deliver and how to fix things.
I can already reach most of the effects I want in textures, and lights were tamed, so now I have similar control of it than what I had at 3Delight (the old render engine), with an additional HUUUUGE WIN: Now I can convert any sky dome to physical light.
The tech part of it is very boring, but I can say that I've been trying this for years already (3Delight had IBL domes too), but just recently, due to having issues in scenes hard to render, and with long rendering times, that I've decided to invest more time at it, and the results are overwhelming: better outdoor lighting, and faster, MUUUUUUCH faster rendering time!
Animations are still a no-go due to the render time required for it, also because reflections are hurt very bad with "fast rendering presets", something that I use for some frames, so, I didn't find a middle ground for animations yet, but I'm working at it, trust me.
While the conversion and experiments evolved, plot had gone in second plan: this is the 2nd week I do not with plot, only 3D assets and final render. The point is that every time I was going to think about something and build a scene for a draft, the scene and/or models were not converted. This is a pain because the video setting I have for one makes the other's eyes all-white, meaning it loses all the "magic", so, no, can't do a draft with that.
I had to postpone the "short king" scene with Gerald, mother's day extra, some plot edits that could even push the releases of GC canon, CT and DV new chapters (we're having canon crossovers in final scripts already)... instead I had to convert the characters and test, and that eat the little time I had for it, because I had to go back to working with the weekly releases. Time is not lost, it just became an investment...
About the releases, last week was a little weak, but this week we have a lot of stuff going on: the release of the final version of Cheap Tricks Extended (where the 5th extension has become very juicy) and the release of the first part of what I think can become one of my largest chapter ever: Giantess Dream Non-Canonical Adventures Chapter ZERO, that every week will feature our girls showing up themselves with some extra panels covering some requests and, best part, allowing the clashes of some girls. Special participation of an agent of chaos (can't spoil more than this now).
Of course, this month's content is exclusive to my Patrons, but Cheap Tricks 42 Extended will be released as product, but trust me, by the same price you will prefer becoming a $5 Patron and get the X-Variant of it where the girls are topless or naked depending on the scene, plus the extra bonusses!
