Did you by any chance install the game in C:\Program Files\illusion\PlayHome? EDIT: Nevermind, it seems a component is missing from the package. Plasticmind's repackaging it now. If you're in a hurry, the missing component is the Mono.Cecil.dll, you can get it from the WideSlider install.

Huh, ok sounds like a mixed bag so far. Better optimization and pose variety is great but I think it sounds like it has a long ways to go before it reaches HS levels of mod accessibility. Anyways, thanks for the input!

I had my antivirus off and ran the installer in the game folder, it still crashes for me

The only way I can see it crashing is your antivirus having a case of false flagging or not putting the executable in the main game's folder.

It's okay. But it has a lot of issues, some of them are the same ones as always, but then there's stuff like some outfits look downgraded for some reason (probably shaders), there's clipping in outfits that didn't have any before, and they're the same outfits from past games. Adding to that, almost no new outfits, and of the few new ones I only liked one, the pearls bikini. There's also that we can't add custom heads anymore. At least not for now, until some kind of plugin or patch gets made to do so, and it needs to be done in a way that we can load custom heads as external assets, else the main resources file will need to be patched/replaced with every new head, which isn't a very good idea. Not that Illusion is in any obligation to allow modding at all, but I guess this could turn off some people. Customization of characters is pretty much the same, but the vanilla assets used for it are better. The skin textures are now 4k for example. There's subsurface scattering. And for once in a long time I like one of the stock characters so much I didn't even change her face (the milf). There's of course only 3 personalities, since it's only 3 girls, it's not a "lots of girls" kinda thing like HoneySelect. I'd say the game is more like an upgraded PlayClub than a HoneySelect successor. There are some new poses, some were removed. There's 3 poses of 3p BBF, and 3 poses of 5p BBBBF. So far I've only seen 1 pose with 3p BGG and it's just licking. I hope the obligatory DLCs add some more content. Oh and no Studio yet. Guess it'll be coming later.

Tried to get that mod to work but it just crashes the installer everytime I run it. Guess I'll have to wait for better mod tools for this game

Hey Roy, As with every new Illusion release there's a degree of uncertainty about transitioning between games. Like always, I'll assume most folks will wait till PlayHome has more patches, updates, and mods before taking the leap as with any new Illusion property, so I was just wondering what your initial thoughts are about the game and what (if any) might be the nature of the transition to modding PlayHome. I know HS still has plenty of mileage left so I'm not worried about its future but was just curious how you'll approach the whole process. Thanks again!
