What I read, I have thoroughly enjoyed the series. Towards the later books, I kind of got burned out (slightly repetitive), but I might try to pick it up again.

Have you read any Laurell K Hamilton books? Anita Blake, vampire hunter. She's always been a badass protagonist in my book (no pun intended).
