...or maybe you're just using a handheld unit with an 1/8in input jack, so no need to worry about phantom power...?

I can DEFINITELY relate to the excitement and geek-out of new gear!!! I've been on the voice talent side and sound engineer side of ADR for years. That 3Dio unit looks AMAZING in that video!!! @_@ Just be sure if you're recording into a DAW, your interface has Phantom Power for your 2 XLR inputs (if you don't have an interface yet). What DAW are you currently using for your recordings? (sorry. trying really hard not to geek out. I'll stop now)
