You should definitely watch: "Film Theory: DEATH NOTE–How Deadly Was it?" - by The Film Theorists channel, it will give you a greater insight of the effects of Light and the death note on the world.

pls do an analysis on the openings, since you mainly didn't look at them when they were playing so you never got to appreciate the visuals

for sure would enjoy some analysis of light, misa, L, as well as near/mello if possible! not sure if that counts as an extra but yeah :)

You should definitely react to this deleted scene of L's funeral, if you have not already seen it. ( https://youtu.be/D-lQCb_Y0PA?si=Dc2DA58nqjCYF_mx ) This scene is in my opinion one of the best, and I'm not sure why they removed it!

The musical is really fun and is a great companion piece to the anime. It has an amazing pop rock score and the full concept album is available on YouTube for free. I’d recommend also checking out the clips of the London production available on YouTube— I saw it in person and was in awe of the production design and acting. The performers playing Ryuk, Rem, L, and Misa especially stood out to me.

There are two one-shot side stories for the manga that are worth checking out, one from 2008 and one from 2020 (also worth reading the last couple of chapters of the original Death Note manga as there are some differences in the ending)

Nine

I'm not sure where you find it but there is a short story set in an alternate timrline where light is about 80 and he won against L and Near

Deria

death note the musical is a pretty fun watch

Kilian Louet

You could try the manga, there some differences and there's a extra story about L and a one-shot that takes time 10 years after the anime

I agree with others about the death note relight movies. It’s a but of a recap of the series with some new stuff, so you can take some time before watching it in order to prevent Death Note fatigue or whatever
