I’m coming to this reaction series way after the fact, so obviously you decided to continue watching after season 1, but I had to laugh at the end of s1e2 because you said you were going to watch season 1 and then decide on the whole series, then when Bran opened his eyes you said something about taking those meffing Lannisters down. Apparently hooked after just two episodes. 😁 I am brand new to your channel and very much enjoying your work so far.

Talking about Jon's mum, the name Ned says is "Wylla", and the next thing he says is "Nor will I". In his NI accent that's not so suspicious, but speak it in a Scots/Lallands accent than both will got "Will a" and "No' will a". I find that a nice touch of the show runners. I just noticed it since I keep hearing that accent all the time.

I am impressed you remembered so much after the first episode! There will a lot of characters come and go... so your brain has to do a lot of work. XD I am grateful for the conclusions and recsp at the beginning of the episodes because for me it is hard to catch up and remember everything. It's the first time watching it in English though and I guess I am understanding stuff more now because I've seen episodes before. I guess it's like arcane where you always catch up more things after rewatching :) My mom was put into coma after she had a sepsis and I've talked to her a lot. After she woke up she kind of remembered some stuff I said. And she got traumatised by the situation after the coma because she didn't trust her body anymore and got panic attacks when she had to sit on a chair because there was one nurse who forced her to sit up and sit on a chair. So it was intresting to hear from the research you've read

Looking forward to watching this show along with you. Regarding the name "Snow" it is more of a nickname they gave him, a location thing. Bastards they don't inherit their father's second name if they are born of a lord. So since Ned is the father and Lord of Winterfell he fathered Jon in the North and they gave him "Snow".
