🕑 Added 2025-04-08 13:16:34 +0000 UTCShort but sweet here. Didn't have much to add to the episode other than my usual questions of how Light's motivations fall within narcissistic, anti-social, personality disorder/traits.
He's clever though! What a great plan he came up with to get the FBI agent's name! What is he going to do with that information? Take him out because anyone opposed to his plan is 'evil'? Will have to wait until the next episode to find out!

Poor girl. Double traumatised. She witnessed that horrible accident and got her feelings played just for Light's plot.

I think the fact Light goes after innocents is the part that weakens his cause. Him going after L and and FBI agent means he doesn't just punish the guilty. Otherwise I think more people in reality would side with him.

Light say here he is a human who wants to make a better world for other humans but i still feel that he is detaching himself from the concept of "human". Not a shinigami either, but a God above them all? More like it. He got scared for a second when he first saw Ryuk but recovered himself pretty fast. It gives chills how that man dies and is blood everywhere meanwhile Light is just smirking that his plan went well, detaching himself even more from emotions...
