Daenerys did the right thing when she punished the masters. She should have had them in tighter leashes actually because they would always try to usurp her. They are the snakes in the grass with lots of wealth.

1:13:26 she crucified the master class. They were not councilmen or noblemen... one can debate the involvement and personal morals pf each one in a nuanced way, but language matters imo. And its important to not mince words on what they were and what they did. They were slavers.

Oh I didn't realise that was considered in the books. Do you know if there is a brief summary somewhere of what is mentioned? Ive been thinking about it far too much recently lol

I love that you got hung up on bran worging into hodor! In the books we actually do get an ethical and practical examination of this concept. So cool and insightful of you to key in on this

Hey Stu! Thank you for the comprehensive breakdown. I have a question - what do you dislike about the term 'resilience'? Just curious :) I've always just seen it used in only positive contexts. Edit to add one more question - regarding Bran taking over Hodor's body and the issue of consent in terms of real world application. Is it not similar to the insanity defense in murder trials?

It's so ironic that Tyrion is just as cunning as Tywin, if not more, and if Tywin wasn't so blinded by hate he would be incredibly proud of his son..

I never mentioned that Danny's dragons are Australian! Made by Method Studios here in Melbourne. I got to go to a big presentation at their's once back in uni. They did some more VFX for GoT but the dragon's are definitely the showstopper

This viewing is the first time it registered with me when Tywin said to Jamie "...you will father children named Lannister." Apparently, he is not really in total denial about the true parentage of Cerci's children.
