Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D 4K 1.3a Patreon Release Download

These crashes have now been completely fixed in this version! If you've been playing on 1.3 and experienced issues so far, please consider updating to this version. You can easily transfer your save data from the old version to this new version by copying the "sdmc", "nand", "sysdata" and "states" folders over from the previous version to the new version. Hi all Patrons!
Today marks the Patreon Release of 1.3, "the massive update", for the Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D 4K texture pack! This update is yet again the largest update made to the texture pack so far and includes over 320 new 4K textures covering many more areas including the Great Bay and Snowhead, further improved user interface, updated shaders and post processing and grandest of them all: the start of a fully re-orchestrated soundtrack in-game!
This update also further expands ReShade support which means there are nice new visual enhancements present like bloom, tone mapping available from the start. As well as ambient occlusion, depth of field and even ray traced global illumination! (not included by default) The installation process has also been further simplified and is now even closer to one-click-and-play, with minimal effort required of the player to set it up and start playing.
This version also supports the Project Restoration mod natively, which reverts some of the annoying changes made in the 3DS remake to ensure you get to experience Majora's Mask the best way possible! The ReShade feature is still a work-in-progress and is in the alpha stages still. This means there are a few workarounds and it's not perfect by any means. Please let me know of any issues you experience while using ReShade in Majora's Mask 3D!
Other changes include improved MacOS support with included instructions on how to set it up, new shaders enabled by default, anti aliasing, various optimizations and more.

There is also a 4K version available, if your computer can handle it. It's a large file, over 9GB so beware of that before you download it!

(Only available for the Citra 3DS emulator, the texture pack does not work on real 3DS consoles).

I was curious if there were any MM hd texture packs currently out there and this is exactly what I was looking for. This pack looks soo good and I am looking forward to playing it when everything is installed and ready to go. Thanks for your work and I am looking forward to see what comes next

Unfortunately at the moment there is only one font available, which is the one I made that's included. I'll consider making more fonts in the future!

Try deleting the "mods" folder inside of the texture pack directory > user > load > mods

... okay so... the Project Restoration Mod won't seem to apply. I've tried using all of the different folders... but it just won't apply itself. Any ideas...?

The emulator freezes right after Skull Kid steals epona at the beginning of the game. I've tried lowering the quality, but I stay at a solid 30 fps up to the freeze, so I feel like my PC isn't the issue. Any help? Edit - So I have tried transfering save data from my regular citra version, and it immediately crashes when I tried to start a save from later in the game.

Sadly I can not share or tell you where to download roms since that would be illegal (it's considered piracy), but I am happy to help you dump the game from your own game cartridge from your own 3DS/2DS console the legal way!

Hi Denis! I'm currently working on the Ikana region as we speak, and have been for the last two weeks. It and the Moon are the last major regions that still haven't had any new textures added to them, so the graphics look like the regular 3DS version in those areas. Both of the areas are quite complex and are difficult to upscale, so it takes longer than usual to make progress. However- things are going smoothly for the time being. Unfortunately you shouldn't expect Canyon textures in the next update (1.3.1) or maybe even the one after (1.3.2), but rather in the next major patch which should be out as soon as it's ready (1.4.0). In 1.3.1 there will be many new textures to the Swamp, and new detail textures and the start of Ikana canyon in 1.3.2. I hope you understand! Expect the new updates very soon :)
I cannot for the life of me find a single safe place to get the rom. Where did you get it from???

I love the work you did with this re texture pack, truly amazing! Just a question, I know it can be played, but are the Ikana Canyon/Ikana Castle areas been re texture? Like when you get the Elegy of Emptiness, that whole area? It is my favorite part of the game and would like to play that area until it gets re textured, right now I just finished Woodfall temple and omg you did such a great work! Keep it up!

Not one that's stable for regular play yet, but I heard a modder is working on an improved code that should be stable enough for full playthroughs!

For PAL (European) it ends at 600, for NTSC (North American) it ends at 500" > "romfs" > there it is. I hope this helps!

I appreciate all the amazing work you do on these updates, truly an amazing job. However is there a way to revert to the original soundtrack? It’s been burned into my brain for so long it’s just not the same without it lol
How do we restore original music if we only want the graphics updates?
Is this patch have 60fps?
