EARLY ACCESS // Iceland studies
🕑 Added 2025-08-22 16:19:10 +0000 UTCLast week, I went to Iceland for a short one-week trip! It truly exceeded all my expectations. I was staying in the capital city (Reykjavik) and doing some smaller day trips, so I didn’t think I would be seeing such stunning scenery. Boy, was I wrong! The thing I learned about Iceland is that everything is beautiful - as soon as you get out of the city, you’re in stunning wilderness. There’s also a kind of strangeness about it, like you’re on a different planet.
I wanted to create a few quick landscape studies from some pictures I took. Lately I’ve been struggling to get clear, readable compositions in my landscapes, so for these, I blocked in the basic shapes with the polygonal lasso tool and kept things super simplified in the early stages!
