Yeah, it would probably make more sense when put into the context of a story, with build-up and everything.

Not everything is as good as it seems at first or second glance. (I'm always nervous revealing stuff like that. I can't judge how it will be taken since it has become sort of neutral to me over time when it's become part of a story. Some people might be very sensible and some might just shrug their shoulders.)
