Rob, thank you so much for this lesson! One of my all-time favorite Christmas carols, I have played the melody alone on guitar many times in the past but never had such a great arrangement to play! All of your patrons may not know that this song was originally composed on and for the guitar! Played for the first time in 1818 in small Catholic church near Saltsburg, Austria. Melody by Franz Gruber, a guitar was used to accompany the singing because the church organ had been damaged by flooding. Beautiful melody and beautiful lyrics especially in German. Thank you again for doing this for us!
I'd like to learn this song. I haven't used hybrid picking. I'm not sure how to position the pick and my fingers. A short close up video would help.
