Anatomy of Basic Chords | Guitar Harmony Lesson
🕑 Added 2020-09-12 18:32:15 +0000 UTCHello friends,
in today's session we will be examining basic chord harmonies and how they are constructed using notes within and adjacent to the major scale in the key of C. Our attached PDF will also demonstrate how flatting certain notes in the scale changes it's classification and how those scales relate to chord harmonies. Let's get started!

Hi Rob, lessons combining one or two open chords (or triads) with arpeggios and scales licks (pentatonic (major or minor) and/or major) are always very helpful. Especially, with tips for sounding less "scale-ly" and more musical. Thank you.
I enjoyed this theory lesson. How about a mini lesson on vibrato technique?
Hey friends, a quick personal update - Natalia and I are finally set to close on our new place this Monday. As I build my satellite studio, I will be offering a series of mini-lessons on useful licks, technique and theory. In the comments below, I would love for you to raise any and all questions you have related to these subjects and I will use your comments as inspiration for upcoming videos. Thanks, enjoy your practice!
