In today’s session we’ll be breaking out of the minor pentatonic box, and discovering how you can diversify your licks by making use of the major pentatonic scale in D position. This major pentatonic pattern is positioned next to the common E position of the minor pentatonic scale, making it an accessible alternative. We'll begin by reviewing our scale positions, before learning two ear-catching blues licks, let's get started!

Hi Rob, thanks for the reply and that all makes sense. I couldn't figure out how to get a link to bookmark for a specific video. Now I see that if I click on the title of the video it will take me to a specific URL just for the video. I can then bookmark that. I'm all set and thanks again.
Hey Todd, the demo is just to show how these licks can be applied in an actual lead part, the focus on this lesson is the positions and a few hand picked licks. While there is no way to favorite lessons on Patreon, you can book mark lessons using your browser. Good news, at the end of this month patreon is adding a search bar, so finding specific resources and videos will become much easier.
