Chris Isaak "Wicked Game" Complete Guitar Lesson
🕑 Added 2018-08-20 21:57:46 +0000 UTC Hello friendsand welcome to another by request song tutorial. In today's session I'll be teaching you how to play Chris Isaak's 1989 hit song "Wicked Game." I'll show you how to perform the rhythm sections on acoustic guitar, before breaking down guitarist James Wilsey melodic lead guitar lines on my Fender Stratocaster. Let's get started!

Hi Rob, nice lesson. I don't have a tremolo bar so I prebend on the G string 4th fret and release and that works but the rest of the times I'm at a loss. Do you have any tricks to get the tremolo action in the other sections?
You could probably figure out a way to use pre-bending or descending slide alway from a B note on the lower adjacent string to create a similar sound. It won’t fully capture the magic, but it’s close.
Rob great lesson. Is there a way to play the electric part on acoustic guitar (the tremolo bar bart) so I can make it one comolete performance on acoustic alone? Thank you
Rob
Trying to work on my singing ... trying to use my guitar to figure out the vocal melody ... could you post the music for the vocals? Staff or tab is fine ... thanks!
This has been so much fun to learn! Love to mix of electric and acoustic.
Hi Rob, Great lesson. Love it that you showed both acoustic and lead. I've been watching Chris on YouTube at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GoZYnl6qz50" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GoZYnl6qz50</a> where he plays unplugged. I can't figure out his strumming/picking pattern. Could you have a look and possibly do a lesson on it. Thanks so much for this.

Love it ....thank you
Excellent cover Rob. Thanks for the lesson! I always tried to put too many notes/plucks into that run. This makes so much sense now and is so simple. Thanks again!
