Rob, I love this lesson. I’ve got thecascading down because it is listed in tab. The parts outside the cascading happens so fast I can’t tell what you are doing. Are you just jamming in the upper and lower box?

Hey Stephanie, I'm not sure if I understand your question. What I would recommend is that you take a look at the actual note names, you'll see that this scale is comprised of the notes E, F#, G#, B, and C#, It doesn't matter what note you start on in the scale, though I usually like to teach it starting from the lowest root.
Ok I’m very confused, in the video you start off with 12 even though you have 9 before that? Could you explain that to me? Or did you make a mistake when you were writing out the cords for it? Because when I look at the cords you written out for this pentatonic scale you say to start off on 12 even though you have 9-12 written on the screen. Please help I need clarity!! 😮
Hey Sujaya, what device are you using? The tabs are accessible to everyone, but you have to set your security setting appropriately. I would not recommend using the app to download my PDFs.

Great, Rob. The pdf makes all the difference. Question: I notice that what seems like most of the time, lessons that involve the pentatonic scale are either A or E. Is there a reason for that? I am so intrigued by the pentatonic scales but in spite of my practice, I get a sense that there's a critical piece of understanding that hasn't clicked yet. I think this lesson is going to help. Thanks.
