In today’s tutorial, I’ll be showing you one of my favorite variations to the common “walk-up blues turnaround,” which adds harmonies to each ascending bass note. This technique serves as a fantastic way to wrap up a 12 bar blues, especially in more jazzy, or acoustic settings. We'll get started reviewing our 12 bar progression in A, and the basic version of this turnaround, before learning this more advanced technique. Let’s get started!
