David Bowie, Nirvana "The Man Who Sold the World" Guitar Lesson
🕑 Added 2017-02-09 01:08:13 +0000 UTC Hello friends,Today I took some time to add the finishing touches to my lesson on David Bowie's 1970 classic "The Man Who Sold the World." I was first introduced to this tune via Nirvana's unplugged performance, so I made sure to keep this lesson true to that very popular version, though they are almost identicle. We will begin by learning the intro riff, before learning the various rhythms and chord progressions for the verse and chorus sections. For the lead guitarist, I'll discuss my approach to minor soloing as I break down my favorite licks over the tunes Dm, F, Dm, A progression. Let's get started!

Yes that has blown my mind :D
Hey Rob, thanks! Great teachings.
Hey Rob. Amazing work! A quick question, in the verse, it seems that the in the progression C / A / Dm / C all chords should be played for two measures expect the A which should be played for a measure and a half, could you verify that?
Hey Colin! Working on “About a Girl” next! Thanks for checking in!
Gday Rob. This is a brilliant song. Almost got the solo down pat. Can you please do more Nirvana 'Unplugged'. Cheers, and great work.
