MNL Progress Report #21

What you're seeing is just a short snippet of the finished undressing sequence as Amber takes off her clothes for the very last time, animated as always by the incredible AT. We're officially moving on to the more elaborate, lewder sequences now, which are the last bits of animation we'll need for the demo. We saved the best stuff for last!
We've managed to overcome the dialogue programming troubles we had in our last post and have managed to successfully get the system working alongside our animation system. However, we've now run into a problem regarding dialogue options and getting those to work correctly. We have a few ways possible solutions to this problem already though, and I think we'll have it all figured out long before the next update. Invertex really is an incredible programmer and we're lucky to have 'em on!
Slowly but surely, all the pieces are coming together! As we piece together this demo, we're moving fast on making new areas of Culo Culo Town to explore. Your boy Brad here has even learned how to use Blender juuuust enough to roughly model out some areas in what could generously be described as computer scrapbook macaroni art.
It's rough for sure, and if you look really carefully, you can probably tell that I'm not an artist in any definition of the word. However, being able to rough out a general environment concept is still really helpful to set a sense of how an area should function, even if you have to break out the crayons and glue. This here is actually an outdoor mall for Amber to explore, with various shops and activities to partake in as well as shoppers and shopkeeps to interact with! It'll be the next big environment we work on once we complete our cafe shop owner's model, and is surely going to be a monumental task. It's a super exciting prospect for us though, considering how much it's going to add to the game and the general world of MNL. Culo Culo Town keeps on growing! We'll be sure to update you on the progress of this environment, as I personally think it'll be neat to see this block of featureless squares turn into an actual shopping center for our butt-naked cutie to peruse.
