Amber's (mostly) finished model!
🕑 Added 2022-08-27 02:28:42 +0000 UTCHey nudies! Brad here with an exciting update! As said before in our previous update, our modeler experimented with some pre-baked shadows and used everything they learned with Petrea on Amber herself. And here's the final result! A fully complete Amber model!

There's still SOME touch-ups we need to do, but overall, it's a HUGE improvement to the previous version and pretty much good to go. Seriously, go check out the previous version and see for yourself. The shadows add SO much, and them being painted directly on means that she can render way easier in gameplay! No need for dynamic lighting or shading, Amber's just BORN that way!
Unfortunately, we wrapped this up just a little late this week and AT wasn't available to do some animations for Amber like we did with Petrea. The gifs above are just a default walk cycle in Unity, not one we'll be using in the main game. That's going to be our next big focus - getting Amber animated and into the game proper.

Did you tone down her freckles? I feel she had more in the last rendering of her walk cycle. As a ginger myself, with an added love for my fellow freckled friends, yes that kind, I’d love to know if there is a slider or feature to up or lower her freckles. I know I saw at least one other person asking if there would be a way to completely remove them all together.
