January Progress Report
🕑 Added 2022-01-30 05:01:02 +0000 UTCIt's hard to believe January is already almost over; the month flew by! A lot of work this month was spent on porting the character controller to the Opsive Character Controller. The next release is planned to be available on Feburary 4th.
This was partially done in the previous update, namely on the NPC side of things, leaving the player as the next step. This is a very background functionality, but it's the foundation that the rest of the game is built-on. The new character controller has a lot of functionality built-in and is easy to extend.
While things will feel largely the same, some new features in the next release includes the ability to crouch along with a first-person mode. Some future potential features include the ability to swim, which leads into the next topic:
Water Park
I've recently latched onto an idea that feels very appropriate for Roshutsu: a new waterpark environment. This would be the first new major environment to the game, which would require hiring an art studio to work with and design it all so that Rika can lose her swimsuit in and sneak/streak around without getting caught.
This is a large discussion in of itself with a lot to write about, so I will write up more in a follow-up post.

Congrats on the foundation update! As always you have great ideas, The water park is a perfect idea since there is a lot of ENF potential there with all the different scenarios you could create from water park rides.

I've been really enjoying a water park setting because it's chock full of ENF and exhibitionism content. I believe it to be the best direction to go for the game, but I will have more to say when I get my thoughts together in a follow-up post.

All of this sounds good! Especially the swimming/skinny dipping as well as the water park ( an environment filled with ENF potential) even if it's a long way off. Glad to see work is still going on this project but more importantly I hope you're doing well!
