There are actually a ton of cut Calypso songs that give more context for what exactly Odysseus' plans were in Appetite. If you want an explanation I can give one, but it would spoil some other songs.

i do love appetite as an alternative song though i have to say gigi isnt my favorite appetite animatic. i love when the animators, like Ximena, show something different after "I think love is in the air" (not to spoil anything if u decide to check out more animatics)

Weirdly, Odyssey trying to reverse psychology Calypso seems so in character for him though. Just based on the character he's supposed to be in the actual books. Mortius if you wanna feel better, in a book a wrote, when Calypso is gaining back lost memories Odysseus calls her a broken woman before he sails off the island. I follow a non Calypso fan, and they loved that line from my book.
