Left-Geoff (I can never keep them straight, either) was my favorite, too, for all the same reasons. (The reaction face to the harmonica solo was just priceless, BTW.) 😆 My two cents on listening to the original vs going in blind is that it's better to familiarize a bit first, especially with such a classic song, and particularly paired with a creative arranger like Geoff who sometimes takes things in surprising directions. Your reactions are always fun and heartfelt and interesting, even when you are familiar with the song, so I don't think you'd lose anything there; and, as you say, it might add something to the analysis--it might help you feel less like you don't have much to say. I'll keep watching either way, it's just that you asked!
