I like the colonialism theme and all the worldbuilding. A small traditional community having to change their way of living was nicely done. Lately I think that the story doesn't have a clear direction. I think that Kai needs a bigger challenge. Maybe Virya's past catching up with her? My question is: when are we through the training arc?
