Oh that’s true! The idea that getting to know your true self leads to selfish withdrawal and atomization is based on very abnormal conditions and psyops that exist today. And of course: witness! That fits perfectly with the theme of congruence, you really completed the point there

I always like to point out that martyr doesn't mean sacrifice but witness and in the context of the early persecutions a martyr would be someone who confessed the truth (that the Roman gods were dead demons and that Jesus was their king) in spite of torture and death. So getting to know who you are and being true to that no matter what is in my opinion absolutely the path to martyrdom. Like, don't believe the psyop that we're innately violent and greedy and selfish.
