Saw the Physio today and I literally hobbled into Hospital as I have done my Sciatic nerve 3 weeks ago when I aggravated my back simply putting on my jeans. I did my back in when I had an accident at 14yrs old, despite multiple hospital visits and osteopathic treatment it always remained weak. This time it jammed my nerve and the result is my left leg is about 30% numb to touch but horribly painful if I sit for more then an hour and it has very limited movement without excruciating pain. Am sleeping with a cushion supporting my arm, a pillow between my legs and two pillows raising my feet, all to support my limbs allowing me to sleep. (Vodka does it way better).
The news from the physio is not great, she was only supposed to be treating my broken elbow but now has to treat a frozen shoulder, my elbow and my left leg, she said she has never seen such bad luck before, any one of these injuries is serious in terms of pain and treatment time, I have them all at once which I can tell you fucking sucks! ETA for my leg to heal is 8 weeks, my shoulder 1 year and the elbow she said may never heal. I see the surgeon in August where we will discuss surgery options.
This is effecting my job as I can't sit for as long as I would like when reviewing games, I can raise my desk thanks to you guys as I bought one last year. The desk helps a lot but standing after an hour is not possible so I have to go to bed every couple of hours for 30 mins and do short walks to keep it active. So it's going to effect the channel when the big games start to drop that require 15 hours play as a minimum, this will effect the views which will directly effect earnings. But thanks to you guys on here I will still be able to pay my bills and my soon to be had mortgage, so I wanted to thank you all again in this letter. The next 8 weeks are gonna be shit, I have already had a taste of 3 of them and it's like torture, shoulder, elbow and leg all very painful for long parts of the day but as time goes on they will heal and eventually I should be free from most pain and have mobility back.
You guys make this journey much easier for me, thanks so much.
