Patreon and Channel Changes, please read.

I would never stop doing the big reviews TBH but as mentioned before, I now have to be extra careful how I pan a game for fear of being flagged as ad unfriendly by Youtube.

I actually look forward to a big game reviews which you might pan (if it is rubbish), half the fun is then to read the angry fanboys losing their shit on the comments. If you say a game is good, it usually goes on my to buy list (usually during a sale or whatever). To my mind the worth a buy WAB videos on popular releases are the goldilocks formula, not because of the YT income but because of the patreon supporters they pull in.

.. what hooked me on WAB was the blistering critique on games that you provide, also the fact that you are one funny dude. No other YT channel provides the laughs that yours does. My own personal thoughts is that what draws people into the channel initially is the brutal honesty coupled with your wicked sense of humour. That to me is the goldilocks formula that draws in the views and consequently the patreon supporters, etc. That is to say that to my mind the hook for gaining monetary support is the WAB videos (well that's what did it for me). Personally I watch Mack's corner a lot less, primarily because I don't have the time to sit through an hour long stream unless I am extremely interested in the content, e.g. when you did the no man's sky stream .. but even that I didn't watch all the way through. The short sharp and extremely witty WAB videos are the addictive part of your content IMO. Nobody on YT even comes close to the exquisite delivery of your WAB videos. I would imagine that using WAB videos to draw people in and all other content only available to paying subscribers could actually do the trick. The WAB content is that powerful, its like video gaming crack. Concentrating more on the WAB videos I can imagine would free up your time. Another thing, WABs of popular games is where the big money is and tbh if a popular game is shit and you pan it, the type of person who would support you will actually be compelled to become a patreon supporter, the haters are actually really funny to read, tbh your channel wouldn't be as funny if you didn't have the angry fanboys foaming at the mouth!!
