Introducing CMRT Complete HUD

CMRT Essential passed through the hands of streamers and youtubers like GamerMuscle or Umberto Noto that said beautiful words and together with your suggestions permitted us to evaluate and think new ways to further improve the user experience. Every comment, every suggestion, every feature request was read, evaluated and analized so it could contribute to give shape to a CMRT version better than the last.
Thanks to all the subscribers, to the one thousand Patreon members and also to everyone who downloaded from Overtake. We are grateful for your contribution.
Thinking, planning and putting together what if many is "just a mod for Assetto Corsa" is a huge work, sometimes exhausting. A challenge that we carry on stubbornly driven by the wave of your enthusiasm and by the ability to realize that CMRT is not "just a mod", but a tool to improve your nights on Assetto Corsa, in single player or together with your friends. Our way to extend our hand to who is passionate of driving games but has always seen from a distance simulators because of their complexity.
But we haven't finished yet, it is time to make the next step and climb to the next level. We are therefore happy to present CMRT Complete HUD. A version of CMRT more powerful and versatile, thought to adapt to whoever has special needs and wants to fully enjoy their races without sacrificing usability.
CMRT Complete HUD will include entire new apps like the completely customizable Multi Functional Display and the Damage Panel, but also new modes for the Leaderboard like Multiclass and Relative. It will also be able to show the DRS, the battery and its consumption.
Below is a list of features it will include and which we are working on (the final result may vary as compared to the images shown):
- ERS: it will be possible to see the total percentage and the consumption per lap, other than mode and recovery and delivery mapping. The info will appear whenever a change has been made to the hybrid system. It is also possible to alternate visualization mode in the Gearbox by assigning a dedicated button.
- Damage Panel: a version graphically improved and coherent with the CMRT style to show damage received by the car during the session.
- Clickable Leaderboard: you will be able to see other drivers by clicking on their names on the Leaderboard.
- Multi Functional Display: ABS, Traction Control, blinkers, headlights, engine mapping, brake bias and many other inside the customizable window.
- DRS: we will show when it is the moment to enable the DRS and its status.
- Save custom layouts: for the users who use different combinations of the CMRT interface, it will be possible to save multiple layouts and change between them in the settings.
- Wind speed and direction, track grip: it will be possible to visualize in real time the track grip in percentage together with the wind and it's direction.
- Saving on the Deltabar the session record of another player to see it offline. You will be able to train in single player against the lap from that unbeatable driver found during that multiplayer session.
- Full Leaderboard: yes, we have listened.
It will also be possible to adjust the quantity of drivers shown on our default visualization inside the Settings App.
- Alternative Map: a mode with the camera centered around the player. It can also be changed in real time by assigning a dedicated button.
- Relative: the Leaderboard will show the cars directly in front and behind you, lapped drivers included. It can be enabled in any moment during each mode by assigning a dedicated button.
- Brakes on Tyres: ability to show the brake temperatures inside the Tyres app.
- Multiclass: it will be possible to show classes based on tags and personalize colors from the Settings App.
In addition to the previous features you will also find some quality of life, like the possibility to force a specific layout to apps that mirror like Tyres, Pedals or Sectors. We are still evaluating other functionality that we cannot say for now, but will be the topic of future updates.
The release of CMRT Complete HUD version 2.0.0 is set for the 12th of July 2024.
It will include: ERS and DRS compatibility, relative Map and full Leaderboard.
For the first 24h from the release, version 2.0.0 of CMRT Complete HUD will be exclusively available on the marketplace for everyone at a discounted price of 2.99€.
At the end of the first day, this and all the following versions will be available exclusively for Patreon members of level "CMRT Complete Exclusive".
The launch of this new interface will also renovate the sistem of subscribtions to our Patreon. We will change currency in Euro and we will simplify membership tiers into two levels: "CMRT Essential Preview" and "CMRT Complete Exclusive".
CMRT Essential Preview will let the members have preview versions of the Essential interface, which will not be abandoned, but will rather benefit from the improvements expecially regarding performance derived from Complete.
We will continue to bring regular updates. The price will be 1,99€.
For all the old members to Level One, do not worry, we are grateful for your support and your membership will not increase in price. You will continue to have the same benefits that you received until now.
CMRT Complete Exlusive will guarantee, as the name suggests, exclusivity of access to the CMRT Complete HUD interface. You will also receive news regarding future updates in the posts of future releases.
Both tiers will also have access to the new official CMRT Discord server exclusively for paid members, where you will be able to receive better assistance service or to write your feedback and suggestions.
For the members of "Level Two", the first version 2.0.0 of CMRT Complete HUD will be a gift from us.
Members of "Level Three" will instead automatically become "CMRT Complete Exclusive" and the new interface will be included in their subscription.

Is it possible to make the sector time show the best lap from all the runs on the track instead of the best of the car? I think that would be cool so that you can try different cars and try and beat the lap times.

Online and offline are two very different environments. The information we can show online depends on what Custom Shaders Patch provides. If we have more information in future versions of CSP, we can include it in our interface. CMRT Group

Thanks for the reply, I only ask because I know the leaderboard works properly in replays from offline races but doesn't for replays of online races. Hopefully something could change in the future for this.

Hi, I'm loving the 2.0 update and the extended leader board (can't wait for the multiclass too), great work. I just have a question about online race replays, for some reason the leader board doesn't register other racers laps and therefore says I'm leading and other cars are laps behind which isn't true. I'm going to assume that this is probably another one of those things where the data isn't available?

hi, my resolution is 5120x1440 (ultra wide 32:9), the auto scale& lock feature doesn't work here, I wonder if it is a bug or problems from my side. My CSP version is 0.2.3 preview1.

Long reply to a long comment 😆. I'll wait for the future to test a more finished version. I saw the * in the Delta app but didn't know what it was for, and only used it yesterday to test since Sidekick has delta, but if you integrate it into the Sectors app it would be better. Thanks for replying.

Thank you for your feedback. We have been very clear about what features will be introduced since the presentation in this post. The other features are not present because they are in development. Every single addition on this list takes time to design and many hours of testing to ensure robustness. We chose to work on DRS, ERS, and Leaderboard first because they were the things you asked for the most, not because they were the easiest or quickest to release. The ability to purchase only version 2.0.0 at a discounted price is for those who only wanted these specific features and nothing else. It is a way we wanted to give you to have CMRT Complete HUD and support us without using the subscription. More importantly, this is just a one-day promotion. The rest of the features will come; the release of any software is just the beginning of its life cycle. We have always released updates on a regular basis, and we will continue to do so. We just need the time, as it has always been. If CMRT Complete HUD does not have the right features for you right now, you can wait for a more appropriate time to take it to a more complete stage. We also want to remind you that once you cancel your subscription, no one will remove CMRT Complete HUD from your system, it will remain yours forever. The incompatibility of URD cars does not only affect us. Protyres cannot read the lut tables and neither can Tyres_app_ext. What Tyres_app_ext does is set its default values in the absence of data, which does not mean they are correct. You can also see in its info panel the warning that it could not find the data. The only app that currently seems to read URD tires correctly is the standard Assetto Corsa app, which can see data that we do not have. As we told you, URD encrypts its cars, and if there is a way to solve the problem, we will have to find it ourselves. All this will take time. Any missing feature you list is simply within our development program. CMRT Complete HUD will have these and other components when they are ready. You can already see if a lap is valid or not, both from the delta bar and from the sectors. The delta number and the invalid lap will be shown with a * next to it, this is possible since version 1.0.1 of CMRT Essential HUD. CMRT has its own way of displaying information, if this way does not suit you (or only partially), you can integrate the other applications listed in your comment and create the combination that best suits your needs. We would like to remind you that a completely free version of our interface is available on Overtake (formerly RaceDepartment). We remain at your disposal for any further clarification. CMRT Group

Hi. I bought the full v2.0.0 in the morning, but I was a little disappointed. There were several features pointed out in this post that are not in the app, I understand about it being in development but I also understand that this is the "full" and paid version, albeit at launch price. I don't think it was worth the purchase, for now, of your app. There are things that other apps have individually and for free, but this "full" version does not. If you want a summary (and if you're interested) here are my points. The Good: - The interface of all the apps, totally, nice and friendly, very Racelab. - The radar app: it will be my default radar forever. - The integration of flags in the Leaderboard app. - The Sectors app in general, although one detail is missing. - The Gearbox app in general and also the low fuel warning. - And in general, an all-in-one solution is totally welcome. The Bad: - Incompatibility with newer URD cars in the Tyres app, I don't get it, tyres_app_ext and even the original AC app don't have that problem. - No brake temperature indicator in the Tyres app. - No clickable position table (spectator mode or replays) and no multi-class indicator and no number of pit stops. - No turbo pressure indicator in the Gearbox app, even the Sidekick app has it. - No indicator of any kind of invalid lap, for example in red in the sectors app. I might have forgotten something, but everything described above is already in other free apps, SubStanding Ext, Track Map Display Ext, Tyres_app_ext, Sidekick, even the Content Manager apps. All the features pointed out in your post I imagine will be in the future, the app itself is good but, for example, I doubt I will use your map app for now, there are better free options for your leaderboard app, Overall, although uglier, Sidekick is a more complete Gearbox HUD than yours, and so on. I just hope this app keeps improving, it's a very good idea but I thought this full version would have more stuff, like the ones in this post. It's just my opinion, obviously I can choose not to buy it or not to have bought v2.0.0, you may not even care what I think, but at least I was able to test it. All the success to you and I hope it continues to improve (and lower the price of future versions).

Each application must have location pinning feature. Then, there should be a switch to the driver clicked on in the leaderboard. I think this is a necessary update for Spectator.

Hello! I downloaded the free version and Im very pleased so far, I will definetely be purchasing this mod regardless of this suggestion being considered or not, I think a great feature for the "Pedals" app with telemetry and the steering telemetry, would be to have the option to switch the circle with a white square to a simplistic wheel, or even better, allow users to change the wheel in the settings app, only four choices would be perfect, a round porsche cup wheel, F1 style wheel, GT3 wheel (Like the Simagic neo, or Moza KS) and a round steering wheel (such as found in Nascar cup cars) . Or allow users to upload their own steering wheel file.

I understand that, the criticism is more focused on the price of the full subscription (I reiterate, higher than Racelab) than the app itself, and obviously there is the option you say, in the end it is not something that is life or death or that you have to report, etc etc (you understand me, right?). As for the tyres app I use tyres_app_ext, which has been around for 2-3 years and I've never had any compatibility problems with VRC or any other in general. In that sense I don't know why TAE does and your app does not. In any case, when your full app comes out I will still buy it at least to see how it works, and also because in general I liked it (but not the price).

When we started developing CMRT, our reference points were mainly the F1 games (especially 2019), the Gran Turismo series and in a minor part iRacing and Assetto Corsa Competizione. The CMRT interfaces have been developed to sew themselves to Assetto Corsa and the needs that a user of this simulator can have. Our subscription gives you immediate access to the latest version of our work and the opportunity to tell us "guys, this feature would be great to introduce!" and then most likely see it in the next version. In addition, when you get what you want, you can cancel your subscription and the version you have will be yours forever, and we will be grateful that you contributed to this project. Regarding VRC, we are trying to find a way to introduce compatibility of their wonderful cars into our interface. Unfortunately, we have not been able to get in touch with them, and this of course means longer development time. CMRT Group

Well, I'll post again. I think it's a good idea, an "all in one", nice and clear, with some bugs, in the tyres app for example with the VRC cars, but all fixable I think. It is also clearly inspired by Racelab, but the full version will cost MORE than the monthly subscription than Racelab itself, I don't know... I understand that the work, knowledge and time invested should be remunerated, besides this trimmed version will be cheaper and I don't know if there will be the version of Overdrive ex-racedepartmet, but paying monthly more than Racelab????? Obviously everyone will see what they pay and where they pay, but this is what strikes me. Without further ado, I still insist that it is a good app.

Oh wow, can't wait for this. This is the cleanest overlay I've seen in a long time. Just a question, I like to use this overlay in replays for recording and the sectors in the leaderboard don't show when watching a qualifying replay, is this a bug or something that isn't possible in replays?
