CMRT Essential HUD 1.0.6
🕑 Added 2024-06-28 20:37:04 +0000 UTCImportant: update 02/07/2024
We have updated the download to version 1.0.6b. Many users have reported the presence of cropped apps.
We have solved the issue.
If for any reason this bug were to still present itself, we have added a checkbox on the Settings app, under the General tab to re-enable manual window resizing.
You can read the changelog here:
General:
Added Setting to manually resize apps.
Fixed apps being cut when ui scale is changed.
Fixed apps being positioned incorrectly by default when ui scale is changed.
Thank you for helping us understand the issue.

The new version 1.0.6 of CMRT Essential HUD is now available.
In this release we have brought an improvement consistent with the usability of the app. Starting from this version the window of each module will automatically resize occupying only the necessary space to show informations on screen. It is obviously dynamic and it will adapt to size changes from the Settings app.
It won't be necessary anymore to loose time adjusting the proper size, CMRT will do it for you.
We've also thought about newcomers, or who simply wants to adapt the HUD layout suggested by us: the first time you open CMRT Essential HUD, apps will position themselves automatically in their default position, and you will be able to adjust them later (who already uses the interface will keep their layout). We have also added a button inside the Settings app to reset positions to default ones.
Finally Tyres, Leaderboard and Gearbox have also been improved, fixing more bugs and improving how solid it is.
Unfortunately we have not yet been able to get in touch with developers from United Racing Design, and until this happens we will not be able to guarantee compatibility for the Tyres app with their cars of remarkable workmanship.
For those of you who are new, you can find the User Manual and download instructions here.
As always if you find any bug or issues do not hesitate to let us know here, in private chat or on Discord, we are happy to help.
Thank you for your support during development.

The update includes:
General:
Apps will resize automatically depending on the content inside it.
Only exception is the deltabar, after manually resizing the window will adjust itself accordingly.
The first time you open the HUD each app will be placed in their default layout.
In Settings > General you can find a button to manually reset all apps to their default position.
If you've used the HUD before each app will not move, you'll have to reset manually.
Leaderboard:
Fixed overcorrection where leaderboard would display 7 people instead of 6.
Tyres:
Fixed inability to gather some data for some more misconfigured cars.
Fixed displaying "0 Laps (0.0Km)" for tyre wear when half data is missing, it will now display "No data" instead.
Improved calculations for tyre with low End of Life.
Improved calculations of grip levels for some cars.
Previously it might report medium grip at some lapcount, but it would actually be at a higher one.
Gearbox:
In Settings, separated measurements units into distinct switches.
Previously you would either see speed in KMH and fuel in Liters OR speed in MPH and fuel in gal, now you can choose both values indipendently (so you can see KMH and gal or MPH and L).
Previous settings changes have been kept.
See you in the next update,

It worked when I resized the window manually, but thank you

Be sure to use version 0.2.3 public or higher of Custom Shaders Patch. Also try performing a manual clean installation of the latest version of our interface. If the problem persists, you can enable manual window resize within the Settings app, under the General tab. Let us know if these steps solved the problem. CMRT Group

I can only see the tyres app partially for whatever reason. The scale automatically messes it up completely

We solved the problem about two versions ago. We are glad you noticed it. CMRT Group

A note - I have noticed that the issue I was experiencing before where the delta bar did not work when the first lap in practice was dirty, has been resolved. I am not sure if it was resolved before 1.0.6, but I have only noticed now.

I was able to solve the resizing issue. I think it is related to updating from the public version to the paid version just by copying the new version on top of the previous one. When I deleted the public version before installing the new one, the issue was solved.

We should have fixed your issue in version 1.0.6b which you can find in this exact post. As for the other suggestions, we took note of them and we will evaluate them for future versions. CMRT Group

In Version 1.0.6 I cannot resize the apps anymore, e.g. in the tyre app the text with the expected laps is cutted. In the public version it was possible to change the size of the apps. After my first view I miss the following features: - a real time alternative, which shows the cars on track ahead and behind. - fuel per lap - track grip level - list of my last lap times - optional list of my last sector times Is the standing in CMRT working correct after a driver change in an endurance race? Apart from that I like the clean look of the UI.

Thanks guys, love your work. The radar doesn't seem to work anymore, nor does the standard AC damage app?

We are glad to hear that everything is working as expected. Your help was precious. CMRT Group

Just tried the updated version, all working brilliantly. I'm glad I could contribute in the development of this great app, and look forward to what updates it brings in the future.

We have replaced the file, you should now see 1.0.6b. CMRT Group

Hi! Version 1.0.6b is the same link? Because it says just "ver 1.0.6" Thanks!

I'm using the latest Content Manager and version 0.2.4-preview1 of CSP. I checked my CSP - GUI - New UI setting, which is set to 175%, because I like to have the icons larger in the taskbar on the right side of the screen. Maybe this is causing the problem cropping the CMRT app windows. But I don't have this issue with any other apps I use.

We currently have no experience with SimHub, so we cannot say whether it would be able to transmit all the information our interface needs. However, several users have asked us to integrate with SimHub and we will investigate the feasibility in the future. CMRT Group

You mean that the Tyres app shows the extended info panel when you click to move it? It has always been a feature we introduced to show the total size of the app and avoid overlapping. CMRT Group

We are pleased that you like the CMRT Essential HUD. To include the possibility to transmit telemetry from other players we have to work further to prepare the app, as you can imagine this feature is quite demanding on the hardware. Thanks for reporting the bug. For the second, we are currently unable to retrieve this information, at least in the current version of CSP. CMRT Group

Thank you, can you also tell us which version of CSP you are in? CMRT Group

This app is great, I love the clean UI and have well it displays information. Just a question, I play in VR and I'd like to use this as an overlay for videos so would there be a possibility that maybe in the future there could be version for simhub?

Great app, love it! I wonder if you will make broadcast package for online racing someday since I'm a league host :) bCast is good but still kinda outdated & not very easy to customize, your HUD have a great potential, but for now it can not read other player's telemetry data when focusing on them. I haven't test this version yet, but v1.05 has bugs in practice session: 1. someone done a fastest lap, quitted and another driver replaced him, that driver inherit the fastest lap 2. the invalid lap judgement is not synchronized to server

Sure, I'm using 35inch ultrawide @ 3440x1440p

I have just upgraded to the full version of this really great app, but the auto resize isn't working for me - it crops every window so I can't see all the information. I downloaded 1.05 and was able to resize them without any problems. So I updated back to 1.06 and the issue has returned. Would it be possible to have the option to auto resize or not? Any help would be appreciated.

I commented on Overtake, tested that version and now I'm testing this version. I'll be brief, not like in OT 😆. Requests: 1. Brake temperature for cars that have that modelled (a bar that changes colour next to the wheels is enough) in the tyres app. 2. Number of total pit entries per driver shown in the leaderboard app. 3. Show in red if a lap is invalid, either the current or the last one (I don't know if the best lap also shows an invalid one) in the sectors app. 3. Battery, KERS, turbo, etc. integrated in the gearbox app, possibly as it is in the original AC GB HUD.. Otherwise excellent app, I will keep testing it. The end.

thank you for the continuous improvements.
