🕑 Added 2025-08-20 00:01:03 +0000 UTCThis has to be one of my favourite things I've ever painted, so I wanted to post the main image from my new commission sheet and some close-ups here for you guys
I've found that I do really well with painting with a hatching technique. I've tried other methods to create volumes when I paint, but none have been as good for me as doing this. I have to be careful not to make the textures too scratchy or too smooth, and I feel like I went a bit more on the "too smooth" side. Still, I'm super satisfied with how it turned out and I look forward to painting more in the future
Also I think I'd like to bring this particular space dog concept further and make more art based on it

Thank you! I've worked very hard on my art skills and I'm happy it's paying off. I only wish I improved my drawing speed too lol, but I guess I can't have it all
