Hermione Glitterton, the brightest witch of her age, has been experimenting with a forbidden charm from a dusty old book she “borrowed” from the Restricted Section — "Magia Beautificus: The Glamour Hex Guide."
The charm promises enhanced beauty, confidence, and "maximum magical allure", but with a big, sparkly side effect: it slowly transforms the target into a dazzling, overly glamorous version of themselves — with a dramatic drop in scholarly focus.
When Harry accidentally triggers the curse during a Defense Against the Dark Arts practice, both he and Hermione get caught in the transformation… under the watchful eye of one very mischievous professor, who may or may not be “helping” things along for his own amusement.
The trio must reverse the Glamour Hex before the Yule Ball — or risk strutting into the Great Hall as glittery, ditzy versions of themselves forever.
