Odds are now that there’ll be more, they can breed more between other species and then rebreed them to the point where there are more genetically stable Pygmy blue whales.

So Eve essentially just saved a mermaid whale population, hopefully there’s enough other mermaid whales to keep them going so there’s no inbreeding unless that blessing also means that inbreeding won’t be that much of a problem
