Chapter 564 - Visiting a Friend

"That reminds me, why are you only in this form?" Danji was used to Aiko changing forms every so often, so it unsettled her greatly that Aiko didn't change her form in a long time.
"I'm maintaining my domain, so that others won't notice us." Witch Aiko munched on a juicy snack. "Well, that's not completely true. They can see us, but they can't estimate our strength, so nobody should bother us for now." The whole continent was now in a state of turmoil, so nobody would be picking a fight with unknown forces, especially with such enormous stampedes still going on.
"Oh..." Danji hugged a black pillow.
"I have been meaning to ask, but what is that?" Witch Aiko was curious about this moving pillow.
"I picked it up a long time ago, but it seems like it has to do something with my Bloodline. It will awaken when I feed it enough energy." Danji knew that this thing could talk and change form, but ever since she was possessed, this thing had gone dormant.
"That sounds interesting." Witch Aiko nodded her head. "I have only a few Beast Cores that revolve around Blood, but we should be able to get more of them soon." She was wondering if this was a living relic or something very precious.
"Thank you, Mistress~" Danji giggled.
"You are calling me that again, huh?" Witch Aiko clicked her tongue.
"It's only natural that I will play around when I'm in a good mood~" Danji hummed again.
Witch Aiko caressed her hair. The red streaks running through her black hair looked quite strange.
"Which colour is your real one?" Witch Aiko wondered.
"Both, my original colour is red, but because of the Devil Bloodline, it's also black." Danji caressed her own hair.
"Uhuh..." Witch Aiko narrowed her eyes. So her efforts were able to either unlock that Bloodline or enhance it.
Nodding her head gently, she lay down on the bed.
"I must say your body is truly ravishing." Danji licked her lips.
"Speak for yourself, have you looked in a mirror?" Witch Aiko rolled her eyes. She should probably teach her the [Moonless Mist Shroud].
"Oh, I will look." Danji hummed happily as she jumped from the bed.
"Damn, they grew again!" Danji cursed under her breath when she saw herself in the mirror.
"It's not that big." Witch Aiko tried to soothe her.
"But they are big enough that I will need new clothes." Danji frowned. She quite liked these clothes, especially since they were made from rare materials.
"I can source better materials, so we just need someone to make them." Witch Aiko pulled Spidey out of her tails.
She was currently snoozing happily and obviously not concerned about what would happen to her soon.
"Spider..." Danji tilted her head. Wasn't that spider supposed to be small? Did it grow so much in such a short time span?
'Is this Aiko-effect?' Danji regretted more and more for being like 'that' before.
"Yeah, we can get silk from it." Witch Aiko wouldn't scold Spidey as long as she provided enough silk.
Spidey woke up and saw her scary owner.
It shivered before running away.
"You have scared it." Danji chuckled. That spider hid behind her.
"Well, she will have to provide enough silk for you as punishment for a certain thing." Witch Aiko smiled, but for some reason that smile didn't reach her eyes.
Spidey cried out gently, but when she heard the word 'silk' she relaxed greatly.
She immediately spun a few beautiful yarns.
"It even sparkles." Danji was shocked.
"I also didn't expect this. We can make some nice clothing with this." Witch Aiko loved the softness.
Spidey heard about clothing and became curious. She didn't have any hobbies, but if her owner liked clothing, maybe she should pick it up so she could avoid future troubles?
"What is it?" Witch Aiko could somewhat feel her thoughts.
"You want to learn weaving and stuff?" Witch Aiko had no experience, but that dude who made her Assassination Outfit should be able to teach her.
"When we return to the Fox Village, you will have to be discreet." Witch Aiko warned her.
Spidey saluted with her front leg before hiding below the bed.
"This will make wonderful material." Danji smiled happily, her ears snipping one at a time.
"How did you make your tails so puffy?" Witch Aiko always wondered that.
"Constant grooming that I will let you experience, Mistress." Danji licked her lips.
"No touchy, touchy." Witch Aiko warned her.
"Of course." Danji grimaced. Her body hadn't recovered yet, so even if she wanted to touch, she wouldn't be able to go deep.
"Then that's fine, but we will have to do it later." Witch Aiko smiled.
"Why?" Danji tilted her head.
"It seems we have already arrived." Witch Aiko skipped a step and went outside.
"So soon?" Danji was startled.
"What do you mean, so soon? I'm already low on my Beast Core! This thing costs too much!" Witch Aiko protested.
"I swear I will melt this piece of crap and redo it better than before!" Witch Aiko stomped around the deck.
Danji giggled. If it were Aiko, she should be able to do something like that very soon.

The Inscription Association unfolded before them.
"Welcome, who might you -" The Steward walked out to welcome them, but after Aiko showed him the [Black Inscription Master Token]. He immediately became even more polite.
"Welcome, welcome." The Steward immediately guided them outside.
"Are you here for materials or-?" The Steward gently probed them.
"Re-evaluation and maybe materials, if they fit my fancy." Thanks to her looting, she now had 234,877 Spirit Stones to her name.
Mei would probably give her more once she returned, but oh well. This would have to do~!
"Oh, but-" The Steward was cautious, while it was impressive that she had a Black Token, it wouldn't be enough to call out the other Elders.
"Just tell Chen Shi that a certain Fox visited~" Witch Aiko was certain that Chen Shi would hear her out.
"Pardon?" The Steward thought he had heard wrong. Nobody in their right mind would call a Runic Cultivator by their name and not their Title!
"Just go, go." Witch Aiko shooed him, making him wonder who she was.
'Stranger and stranger people come here every day...' The Steward was quite tired, but his Master was sickly, being taken care of by a bird...

"Master, I have come to deliver a message." The Steward said cautiously.
A gorgeous woman with huge breasts opened the doors. "What is it? Little Shi is resting." She looked troubled.
"Ah... well." The Steward hesitated. "There is a Fox that wishes to deliver this message."
"Oh?" Chen Yanqi's eyes sparkled. "Is she perhaps small and cute?" She was hoping that it was the same Fox that she knew.
The Steward coughed awkwardly. "She is very beautiful."
"Hmmmm..." Chen Yanqi wondered if it was the same Fox, but no harm would come if she checked them.

"Oh!" Witch Aiko's ears perked immediately.
'Huge ears, innocent, but very chaotic expression.' Chen Yanqi immediately widened her eyes. "Aiko?"
"Big-breasted birdie!" Witch Aiko giggled happily.
"Big breas-" Chen Yanqi was hit by that familiar and ruthless honesty.
"Yanqi, Yanqi, can't you just remember that?" Chen Yanqi sighed.
"I can't help it. I still hold a grudge against that pecker." Witch Aiko wanted to see if that little birdie could still peck her!
"Don't be like that." Chen Yanqi sighed gently. "You have come at the wrong time. Little Shi is still hurt."
"He won't be for long, but you should prepare for rivalry." Witch Aiko snorted with glee.
"?" Chen Yanqi tilted her head. Her only rival couldn't be saved, and she passed away, but if she could rewind time, she would definitely bed Liu Zhi again before that happened!
"Just take me to him." Witch Aiko happily skipped a few steps.
"You are as chaotic as I remember you. It almost feels like yesterday, when you were in a slap-pecking contest." Chen Yanqi reminisced about the past.
"Hey! Don't bring that up." Witch Aiko pouted.
"And you must be-" Chen Yanqi knew that this was the same Fox who accompanied Aiko.
"Danji." Danji giggled.
"Oh~, you finally have a name, good for you~" Chen Yanqi hugged Danji, startling her.
"If you don't mind, we definitely can-" Chen Yanqi was very open with her relationship, but even before she could finish, Danji cut her short.
"Your hands will be full." Danji chuckled darkly.
"Still-" Chen Yanqi didn't want to lose the opportunity to bed someone so beautiful, and Chen Shi would definitely like her... sizeable chest.
"Shush." Danji chuckled again. "Don't believe me, just wait an incense stick of time, and you will be happy that you didn't finish these words."
Chen Yanqi raised her eyebrow, but this definitely piqued her curiosity.
They went into the bedroom where Chen Shi lay.
Chen Yanqi moved him from bed to the table.
"It's you..." Chen Shi sighed. "How was she?" She still couldn't forget about her.
"Dear." Chen Yanqi brought him some nice soothing tea. She was always agonising over how to please her dear and make his heart ache less.
Be it beauty or wealth, she was willing to compromise.
"She is doing well." Witch Aiko nodded. "I need a few things from you, but let's start with a Treasure or, better, a Relic that can nurture Souls and Ghosts."
"I suppose you are at the time that you need more Souls to upgrade your tails." Chen Shi sighed. He didn't mind doing this, since he now knew she passed on 'peacefully'.
"It's for Lady Liu, you dumbass." Witch Aiko rolled her eyes.
Pfft Cough Choke Cough Cough Cough Choke
"Whoa, I have never seen anyone turn so many colours in the span of a few seconds." Witch Aiko whistled at his new talent.
Chen Yanqi soothed her husband, since she couldn't comprehend what had just happened.
"You know what happens to liars." Chen Shi glared at her with an awful expression.
The previously frail husband turned into a malevolent deity.
"Eh." Witch Aiko shrugged like he couldn't threaten her and pulled out a certain lamp.
"The [100 Ghost Parade Lamp]?!" Both of them were shocked that this precious thing still existed!

Neighbours are roudy and my fingers hurt, so I was not able to finish as much. Let's hope tomorrow will be a better day... ;-;
