Chapter 48 - Mind Tribulation!

He was not surprised to suddenly appear here; he had already expected it. This place was a mind tribulation sent by the heavenly dao to test his spiritual symbol strength.
Soon, Hengsheng frowned at the peculiarity of his mind's tribulation, which stemmed from his knowledge. The mind tribulation manifested as the Road of Dao Cultivation, The path that tested the cultivator on their chosen path. Only ten steps down the path would count as passing the tribulation.

As he continued to walk forward, the pressure increased with every step, and soon an obstacle appeared in his path. It was a thin ice plain that would break if he stepped on it carelessly. However, he smirked at the obstacle, for as a system maker, he knew there were two ways to proceed in his path.
One was to find the shortcut and cheat like others could not, and the second was to break the obstacle with cheat-like power and reshape it to suit his purpose. As his Dao heart aura resonated with his thoughts, the aura around his body shone brightly. He stomped onto the thin ice, shattering it into pieces. Despite this, he did not fall into the abyss; the impact of his stomp created a large wave of resonance, forming a bridge for him.
The bridge stretches straight up to the top of the mountain. Hengsheng continues his steps...
Without him knowing, He can't remember how he returned to his cultivation cave. Hengsheng Scratching his head in confusion, the last thing he remembered was stepping onto the bridge, then…nothing.

When his divine sense returned to the upper Dantian, Hengsheng saw that it had the same shape as his spirit core but was a red orb instead of a blue one. Its surface was decorated with Qi patterns and Qi runes that resembled when he brought the Infinite Evolution System outside his body to imbue Yunsu for hatching. Moreover, it also had patterns of the Red Chaotic Flame moving across the surface as if it would never be extinguished, even now that it had become his spiritual symbol. After he observed the true appearance of his mind space, he couldn't help but feel curious about its origin, murmuring, "Where did it come from?"
Hengsheng became serious. He needed to see what the world inside the system would be like. He closed his eyes and did the same thing he had done when he entered the mind space.
