Chapter 40 - Life Simulator System!

Installing the system had drained his spiritual Qi at an alarming rate—far more than any of the systems he had created before. This time was especially taxing, as the Life Simulator System was undoubtedly the most potent and profound system he had ever created. Even the main system he relied on couldn’t compare. After all, this new system was built using the Sample of Cultivation World Law as its blueprint.
The energy drain was immense, consuming all 1,760 units of his spiritual Qi across five rounds. Hengsheng had to continuously absorb spiritual Qi from the surrounding air to sustain the installation process.

Samuel only smirked. Chaos was his playground.
Yet beneath the mischief, there was a growing restlessness. his life felt too boring. There was nothing left for him to discover around here—except the universe beyond and quantum world, which is out of his reach for now.

The lecture hall buzzed with low murmurs as students settled into their seats, but Samuel barely noticed. His focus was on the equations sprawled across his notebook—lines of theoretical physics, quantum mechanics, and cosmology, all fighting for dominance in his mind.
"Alright, class," Professor Alden’s voice cut through the noise, "today, we explore the concept of quantum superposition and its implications in the Many-Worlds Interpretation."
Samuel's eyes lit up. This was what he lived for—the mysteries of the universe, the pursuit of knowledge beyond human limitations.
"Imagine," the professor continued, "that at this very moment, infinite versions of yourself exist, each making different choices, each experiencing a different reality—"
Samuel’s hand shot up. "Then wouldn’t that mean our perception of time is fundamentally flawed? If quantum states exist simultaneously, doesn’t that challenge our very definition of cause and effect?"
A few students groaned. Michael, who had chosen the same university as Samuel, smirked beside him. "Here we go again."
Professor Alden chuckled. "Ah, Mr. Barlow, always ready to challenge the foundations of physics. Well, that’s what science is about, isn’t it? Testing, questioning, discovering."
Samuel grinned. He thrived in this environment. Where others memorized formulas for exams, he dissected them, searching for hidden truths. Where others saw limits, he saw possibilities.

"That’s where you’re wrong," Samuel replied, staring up at the night sky. "Everything is a mystery. We just haven’t asked the right questions yet."
As the stars shone above, Samuel felt a deep yearning inside him.
