Comic Report #98.2 - Ding!

I wanted to push to get this page done before Friday so I didn't have to post a partial page and then another update later that night, I'm getting it all done now. Tomorrow there will be a gamedev post as the primary Friday writeup, but for now you can enjoy the above page!
In painting these pages, the hardest thing has probably been painting all the reflections-of-reflections and trying to recall what is reflecting where and which way it should all be facing. There's a couple shots that were particularly tricky, like panel three having mirrors mirroring mirrors perpendicular to the mirrors the mirrors are mirroring, and so on, and just kinda keeping track of how that might all work if I was standing in a mirrored elevator referencing it myself. I kinda blotch in the mirror reflections to keep them abstracted and disconnected from the main occupants of this shard of reality- it makes it a bit easier to parse, I think. However! With this page finished we're now out of the mirrorverse and I probably don't have to draw another mirror until the story ends up back at the Jade Garden, which, Patreon secret, might not be that far away.
