Totally agree, the 70s list definitely felt lazy with its picks. And strange - it has Marquee Moon, but nothing by Neil Young, Bowie/Eno, or Can? The 70s was so retrospectively abundant with groundbreaking 10/10s that there is no excuse to argue for something that falls apart with the slightest of thoughts.
Great video, I definitely think time changes how an album is perceived and i agree with the sentiment art shouldn't be scored like a sports game or something. If we talking 70's 10's thought, Joni Mitchell & Stevie Wonder gotta be in the convo. btw i'd recommend checking out the "Detroit Mix" of Marvin Gaye's What's Going On, it really changes the feel of the album and makes it a little more sonically direct with some more instruments upfront and little bit more flair. it almost feels like a live jam
