That's what I'm thinking, they didn't want competition for Taeyeon. I don't think SM debuts soloist unless they were apart of their groups first

I think you guys gotta react to EJAE's Vanity Fair interview about the creation of "Golden"! It's really interesting hearing the creative process and also her personal story is very heartfelt <3

I absolutely adore EJAE. Every time I think of why SM didn't debut her I literally can't think of anything except maybe they didn't want her to challenge what Taeyeon is for them. But imo why not have both. Cause it makes no sense to not debut her then have her help work on multiple songs for aespa T^T (But EJAE loves aespa down so I bypass SM for that I guess...)

rightt. It only makes me think of all the other trainees that are in the same situation. Still never makes sense why they would keep a trainee so long and not end up debuting them. But happy she finally got her spotlight!

She’s a literal angel the fact that SM didn’t debut her is WILD to me she could’ve defo been in red velvet but I’m glad she in the end is getting her flowers because she rightfully deserves them
