11.1.2 announcement!

Version 11.1.2 is our upcoming small patch, which enters the Patreon beta program today, and is planned to be released later this week.
Subtitles
This small patch includes a major accessibility improvement, especially for those who aren't fluent in English and have troubles understanding in-game announcements, which often serve as a gameplay cue.
SCP-244
At the time, we stated that SCP-244 would be returning in a future patch as a permanent addition, and this is still the case - SCP-244 will be returning. However, our game design team would like some more time to review the item's mechanics and niche within the game before they're comfortable re-introducing it in a long-term form, so SCP-244 will not spawn naturally in this update. However, it does exist within Remote Admin, and can be used in-game if it is spawned in manually.
Other changes
List of remaining improvements introduced in this version. Please note that some of them were already available during the Christmas Event:
- Added several missing translations to the main menu.
- The trajectories of thrown grenades have been improved, and are now much more consistent.
- Reworked the system the game uses to render decals. This should result in minor performance increases, but also reintroduces old features like players leaving blood splatters in the environment when they're damaged.
Bugfixes
- Fixed a rare issue where grenade-inflicted status effects would never decay.
- Fixed an inventory softlock when throwing a grenade while spamming hotkeys.
- Fixed escaped Class-D not being counted on the summary screen.
- The "They Are Just Resources..." and "If you want something done right..." achievements will now also be granted for non-firearm kills.
- Fixed flashlights not affecting SCP-173 in certain scenarios.
- Fixed multiple out-of-bounds exploits related to SCP-173's Blink ability.
- Fixed SCP-096 bonking their head in GR-18.
- Fixed an issue where SCP-939 could not hear someone operating the MicroHID.
Beta
The beta for all $5 Patreon supporters will be available today (13th Jan) at 20:00 UTC. If you don’t know how to access the beta, please follow these steps:
- If you haven't already, join our Discord server and make sure to receive your Discord roles (if you need help getting your Discord role, please follow this article).
- Make sure you can see the #patreon-testing-announcements channel. At 20:00 UTC we'll post an announcement about the release.
- Navigate to the channel #SCP:SL Patreon β.
- Click the Install button.
- Launch the game and have fun.
We'll be informing about official testing sessions on the #patreon-testing-announcements channel. If you find any issues with the beta, please let us know in #patreon-testing-report. You can also use #patreon-testing-chat to give us general feedback.
