Most will take it for what it is. The more persistent girls will be cowed, they might switch to a charm based approach, bide their time or get sneaky.
They generally wont be forceful, unless they think you are leading them on.
Sekarri men often play the women off each other, "err sorry, I'm waiting for my dates."
But Brian... oh Brian.
For one, he is not amongst the 400 abducted on the Vanguard.

Truth be told, this is the first time in his life people have noticed him - and Brian doesn't want to blow it (pun not intended).

So again, given that yesterday Brian was cleaning toilets and serving dinner to snotty nosed IT workers, Brian was eager to hold onto whatever opportunity this was.
