MOB OF THE DEAD 19/01/24
🕑 Added 2024-01-19 18:00:13 +0000 UTCThis week I've been working on getting the Blundergat and Tomahawk ready for the map! The animations for both of these we're done by a friend of mine called Chens while i worked on scripting the both of them! I've also done the Acid Gat this week as well as started on the upgrade quest for the Hell's Redeemer and the free Blundergat easter egg. Both of these are still in development and aren't ready to be shown off just yet but they are in development!
This map is really starting to take shape now, most of the features from the original map are in and the map is an absolute blast to play gameplay wise! There's still a lot left to do and polish up but it's really getting there! There's a few things I'd like to get your opinions on, I may do some polls on here if you're interested but for now just let me know in the comments your thoughts!
The first thing is whether or not you'd like an infinite dmg wonder weapon, I know it was a big thing for call of the dead to get one as there's not many resources on that map but Mob has quite a few, being the 3 traps on the map as well as the Plane / Tomahawk / Multiple Blundergat variants / AATs, I feel like an infinite damage weapon would make the map too easy, but I'd like your thoughts on it! The second thing is whether or not you'd like to see Brutus get a buff from his Bo2 counterpart, in the original he's very easy to kill even on high rounds, so I was wondering if you'd want to see him have a bit more health so he poses more of a threat on Boss rounds.
That's about it for this week though, I wish I had more to show off but I'm still working on much of the stuff I'd have liked to show this week. More next week as always! Thank you!

only problem with making the death machine infinite damage is the fact you'd have it on you all the time as it's not a powerup on mob, and since gobblegums will be available on the map if you combine the death machine with alchemical and you'll be unstoppable lol. I'll have a look into it though, i may be able to give it a buff if it needs it! and yes there is going to be custom hud elements for this map, they've just not been implemented yet!

The map looks fantastic bro, Brutus having small buff would be so good at least 150% original health in my opinion maybe weird though having the death machine have a specific quest to give infinite damage, i felt in the original mob in bo2 it didn't get a lot of love. Also was wondering are you going to add a custom MOTD ammo gauge on the hud? Keep up the amazing work bro!

aaaa this looks amazing, im so excited to play! i dont think an infinite dmg wonder weapon belongs in this map for the reasons you already listed, and i'd love to see a brutus buff! bo3 can feel a little easy at times, and i miss the feeling of genuinely being scared on boss rounds :) good luck on future progress !!
