🕑 Added 2024-12-15 16:11:37 +0000 UTCI can't say more (for now) because it involves the U.S-Canada border/ongoing legal stuff, but the relevant thing is: I have not had access to my phone, laptop, or tablet for the last 7 days, and I still haven't gotten confirmation when I'm getting them back. At this point I'm not even sure I'll get them back before the holidays. I'm currently borrowing a friend's (too-old-to-do-coding-work-on) spare laptop, and thankfully I had the foresight to save my two-auth codes elsewhere (since usually, without my phone I can't access my Patreon, or bank, or emails, etc).
Anyway:
1. No work can be done until I get all my stuff back.
2. AI Safety for Fleshy Humans Part 3 will be delayed, most likely to late January.
3. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Hope y'all have a better holiday season than I currently am! Share with me your uplifting New Year's Resolutions; that'll help me cheer up a bit.

I still don't have my devices back (but it's the holidays) -_- I'm currently borrowing a friend's pretty-decent spare MacBook. As for 2FA i have *ONE* backup code for accessing Patreon left. Hopefully I get my old phone back soon.... Until then I am leaving this login session on.

You are living every tech nerds worst nightmare, I'm sorry. That gear is probably gone for months and it will likely be wiped when you get it back. I mean, even if it isn't wiped, you'll have to wipe it for security. Thank goodness for the backup 2FA systems. Very good foresight. Which side of the border are you on? Is there a way we can help you get a better laptop that will keep you going for the next several months?

Iโm sorry to hear that! My New Yearโs resolution is that Iโm going to be more openly agender. Iโm going to use they/them pronouns more regularly in my daily life. Iโm already doing so at school, but now Iโm going to with family/friends as well.
