And when does Nutshell launch? Between this & my other project (see the P.S.) I estimate early November. That's right: my first project since my year-long burnout-hiatus!
Speaking of which, I think it's time that's done. So heads up โ this Patreon was paused since September 1st 2020, but will start charging again on October 1st, 2021. If you'd rather not continue financial support, that's ok! I still have a newsletter and an RSS feed where you can keep in touch.

I'm currently teaching parts of a computer in my computer science class (CPU, ALU, RAM). I was actually thinking of how students could create their own explanations. So, in this case, a wiki nutshell might hinder in that students won't want to create it if it already exists. But it could also be a great placeholder. By starter I was thinking of the text that is initially shown with further definitions hidden in the nutshells. Ya! I think this could be a great constructionist (add wiki nutshell) tool where students could create their explanations... maybe collaboratively?

Thanks for this feedback, Tyler! :) What vocabulary/subject are you teaching? (Also, to try to solve the "starter" problem, I was thinking that Nutshell could, by default, pull introduction paragraphs from Wikipedia? Does that sound like it might be helpful for your use case?)

I really like Nutshell. I started writing the vocabulary I am teaching in one of my classes. I found rewriting all the links a bit long-winded. Auto-complete would be a huge help. I'm imagining having one main "starter" page and glossary page, that would be used for all the explanations.
