You know when I said writing What's Nicky Learning would help me, too? Well, when I revisited the 10 Principles for Reducing Cognitive Load, I realized I could apply them not just to "explainers", but this tool too!
So, previously, I separated the spectrogram & instructions. The tutorial was in a sidebar. Some of the text was even in a sidebar-in-a-sidebar, ack.
The new design has the tutorial on the tool itself:

But first, I'm taking a break on the voice project, to finish some errands before the new year:
- Moved countries 7mo ago – I still need a new doctor & dentist
- Fix Emoji Simulator's saving feature. (It's been broken for TWO YEARS)
- Change some dialogue in Adventures With Anxiety, and upload it to itchIO
- The FINAL PEEP rewards
- Upload a talk I gave 9 months ago.
- My yearly end-of-year blog posts: habits I made, books I read, etc.
Also, I probably need a mini-vacation at some point.
