I was back in my forum account. In my mind, I had this idea. A very good idea. After Akasha showed me the streams of energy that we both suspected and knew were for making and introducing gods and players into the game I had been strung up in my ideas on how to go about this.
There were just so many of those balls. The question was what to do and how to get it done. Which brought me back to my Forum. Or what I now call the council of ideas and advice. 'Hehehe'.
Since either was early in the morning most of them were online chatting and throwing banters. It amused and surprised me at their devotion to the game especially when I rarely streamed and there was really nothing keeping them here except for a few seconds or moments of awesomeness.
[@Hildelith(Creator79✋⚫) - Anyone here?. Knock knock. ]
[@RackOfLife - Well look who's here]
[@BookWorm - The Deity comes to grace us mortals with her presence]
[@Lollipop - Soon we'll be in the game. I got the slot too]
[@Bookworm - I didn't. I call bull on this]
[@Lollipop - Hehehe. Bow at my feet mortal.
[@Bookworm - Well I know which god I'm killing first]
[@Lollipop - Well a boy can dream too]
[@Bankai -Tbaf makes her female]
[@Bankai -> @Lollipop - you are female Right?]
[@Bookworm - Please at least let me get the beta slot. Alr already paid and drew the raffle. I have to protect the great Library]
I had a wide grin at the antics of my fans but knew I had work to do and ideas to make. "Forgive me for feeding on your ideas".
[@Hildelith(Creator79 ✋⚫) -So remember when I told you something about gods? Well, I got thinking. If there were gods what would we like to see in them]
[@Hardman - She does know she doesn't exactly know how to lie right?]
[@Lollipop - It's so cute]
[@Hardman - cringy]
[@RackofLife - probably a bit]
[@Hardman - More like a lot]
[@Hildelith(Creator79✋⚫) -. It's just a question. An experiment on my part. Has nothing to do with the actual game. Just want to know what kind of gods are fun and what are not. If it works it might be sort of for the game. For now, it's more of a thought and a design]
[@Bookworm - Sounds more believable]
[@Lollipop - And less cute]
[@RackofLife - Already have this. Check it out.
Now gods can be of various types. The physical ones, the conceptual gods, planetary gods, and more. Each god is a more situational or power structure-based God, so I'd say the god type used should be set around what one world or existence is like]
[@Lollipop - Is he this Smart in real life?]
[@Bankai - Probably just research. The Net exists for a reason]
[@Bookworm - still loving the idea though. Sticking more to the conceptual gods. elements, emotions, and ideals or values just cooler and better. Even more on worlds]
[@Lollipop - If it works I think it better to have gods that relate to both their habitat and environment. Or even how certain people view them]
[@RackofLife - I think of fantasy gods as beings that could be anything and anyhow. Think of all the depictions of gods in works of literature. Strange, unexpected, not necessarily impressive but definitely shocking and just mouth-dropping. I think you should have this in mind with gods]
[@BookWorm - Rack Of Life showing intelligence once more. Nerd]
[@Hildelith(Creator79✋⚫) -That's quite the ideas you all put in. Thanks. Hope The Star Rings Universe is to your liking. You are all always welcome]
'Hopefully, the name drop was enough and can be useful when they're coming in here'. With an excited grin, I exited my page chat and entered the net.
There was a lot of information via the link Rack Of Life sent. God types, god kinds, god ways, body, and image. There were a lot of gods. Those who were similar to their race, those who were personifications of things either elements, emotions, or values.
Nothing I did would be new. 'Best to just pick gods I want. Or wait..." I quickly drew up an app where I created a blank page and began typing. Creating a catalog of everything I had and trying to connect pieces.

"Phew". My back made a creak and snap as I stretched. Probably was the chair. Groaning, my feet cramping and my eyes heavy I rose from the chair and left my laptop on. Heading down for a cup of water I bumped into Dester.
He froze. Visibly. I froze too. Then stiffly and slowly rushed at him. The boy let out a stupid squeak as I grabbed his hips and held him tight.
"I missed you Big Ape". His body rigid and stiff slowly settled down. Arms wrapped around my shoulders as a sigh escaped his lips.
"Penguin".
*****
"I've not been that serious or inventive with mine. You can ask your fans too?. I didn't even think of it". Dester beat his forehead with exasperation while I smirked with glee.
The boy was seated at my table eyeing up everything I had made. After giving him good details on everything in my game he had sat there for quite the longest time muttering to himself. Using my Holopad he'd created another plain page and made more notes.
"I can't believe how much I missed. Still that part of the game system letting you do as you want is worrisome. How would you go about security for any stupid and violating acts".
"Already thought of that". I laughed. The idea for that had been quite amusing to me.
A knock at my door turned my head to it while Dester ignored it as he typed furiously. "Hey, Dad".
His eyes went from Dester to me with a worried eye that I frowned at. "Apparently I'm better at this game than Ape here".
The word seemed to suck out all the worry and tension in his body as his expression relaxed. 'I mean I understand but still it's frustrating '.
"Is he failing in his universe?".Dad came in with an 'If I may' expression before walking up to my table and looking at what Dester was typing. His eyes narrowed in concentration and his left finger tapped against his lap.
"You know I might have more ideas for this?". He said without turning. "Wanna see?". And without an answer, he quickly rushed off to his room to get his Holopad.
"Now all that's s left is for Mum to..."
"Why'd your father rush off like his ass was on fire?". Speaking of the devil or deviless she poked her head inside my room. "What's up?". Her eye went to Dester, but instead of the worry I expected there was relief and happiness. She turned to me.
"I see you accomplished your word on employing eh". eyebrows raised with a faux seriousness she went back to looking at Dester.
"What's he working on?".
"Just something about gods I need and also stealing my ideas".
"I'm not stealing them. I'm borrowing. Enhancing. Adding flair to it". He yelled waving his hands around.
"Okay. Define stealing". Mum nodded.
"I've been betrayed. Dad. The women have turned on us!". Dester yelled. Dad worked in just then with his Holopad took a good look around and made himself comfortable right at the foot of my bad.
"Just you little man, just you". I chuckled while Dester huffed in mock disbelief. Looking back to Mum I raised an eyebrow.
"So, wanna work for me?"
"I don't know, how much do I earn from this side gig?".
"Love, trust, companionship, and a cute daughter?".I made a face like wasn't this enough. Her face took on that 'really' expression while her stance sagged into this 'can't believe this' position.
"Not working?". A show of teeth was ruined by the blank eye. Turning Mum sauntered out of the room.
"Try harder. I know your father did". I huffed as she vanished past the door.
"Not to worry kiddo. You got us". Dad looked up and made this cheesy and crinfey smile with all his teeth showing and cheeks stretched before looking down.
"Yaaayyy!!!".
****
"Alright that's a lot. No jokes sis, you really went all out here. Can't wait to see your universe just reading about it has me drooling". He had a wistful look. "Hopefully mine is any better".
"Don't be a doofus. It will be. Creativity and inspiration runs in our blood". I smiled. We both turned to see Dad stick a finger in his nose and poke around.
"Definitely mom's side". Dad looked up and frowned at us.
"I'd have to say that I have quite the imagination. Proof. Check this out. I read through everything you did and couldn't help but notice your writing about the nightmares. You don't like them or it".
"It's not that I don't like it. My universe has to be interesting. But I'm torn between having something for players to fight and also causing such disaster myself".
"Yet..." Dad looked excited as he stood and hurried to my table. "You have this ability called balance". He pulled it up and highlighted it for us to see.
"What you getting at Old man?". Dester prodded curiously.
"I'm not old. And ... Gods of balance are usually beings portrayed as in the grey. Neither order nor chaos. Neither good nor bad. They see the in-between. Act as such. Have a hands-off policy and such. You didn't make the nightmares intentionally and from your writing, Akasha already mentioned this happening sometime in the future of your universe due to the prevalent energies".
"Yeah?". The confusion on Dester's face was like honey to Dad.
"So just let it be. You are a god of balance. Balance gods know that there can't be too much good. Look at some renditions of utopia. Not good I tell you".
"Okay I get it. But I don't like it. If the universe becomes anything like Earth then it's gonna be a mess of nightmares and fewer dreams!". Everyone went silent.
"You don't want your universe to be as bad as you think, know the world in our reality is".
"That's why you were getting better fast. You were creating a haven for yourself in there".
"That's not healthy Helen". Dester muttered. Dad kept silent his face now blank. I didn't say a word eyes on the ground.
"But, I guess if it's a haven then we can do our best to make it so". Dester added and looked at Dad. "Right, Dad".
It was obvious both didn't like the idea of making a game world my safe zone. Yet, they understood. And before my eyes both began researching and checking things more fervently.
A few minutes or almost half an hour later Dad rose from his crouched hand on his waist. "Damn, I still need this waist ". Dester snorted and I just grunted in disgust.
"Alright, I have something".
Eyes on him. "The nightmares are exciting for your world. But there's no control of them. So why not put in a God of nightmares".
"Hmmh. Makes sense. Dream God, Nightmare god".
"One wishes to release his children and the other tries to stop him".Dester nodded.
"Actually..." Dad dragged out the word and we all turned to him. "I'd think that a Dream God would want to share dreams to a physical world m. Think of it. Dreams depending are something we want in life. If so I think a dream God is inclined to always want his dreams out in reality".
"Which gives us gods who want their creations on earth".
"Mortal plane not earth". I corrected.
"How about a third god". Dad added with a smirk.
"Two more actually". Dester added his hand clicking on a screen. I moved forward to see.
"That's interesting".
"A god who directs and safeguards mortals while in their dreams". I muttered.
"That's actually good. Works with my god who guards the dreams and nightmares from entering the mortal plane ".
"But if he guards them, how then do they get past. We still need a bit of them to cause problems ".
"Divine Wars". I jumped up. "Gods are always fighting right?. So what if because of all the fights in the realities gods are unable to do their work well or effectively?".
"Explain ". Dad was now leaning back on my wall and Dester was attentive.
"I was thinking, at the beginning when I made my children..."
"Hah. You heard that dad. You got grandkids already". I glared at Dester who smiled at me. Dad made a motion for me to continue while rapping Dester's skull.
"Ouch".
"The game system, The Will, whatever we call it gave my kids titles that I believe act as their role in my universe form".
"With Akasha now in charge of all the system's former work you .. want to change things pertaining to your children". Dester turned absentmindedly while speaking my mind and touched his Holopad.
"Yes. You already know which reality each of my children stands in. But I was thinking, that since Ozai guides the Mortal Plane but has the Divine Realm as a source point it's basically his by right. So, why not let Tora guard the Rack of Life".
"Just to put this out there but, Rack Of Life?". He gave me a look. "Seriously. You couldn't get any other name for it. That sounds like ..." He shivered. I glared.
"It works, meaningly. The name is weird, yes but it does apply". I dared him to argue with eyes. Hands raised in a show of surrender.
"Anyway, with Tora ruling and having the Rack of Life as a source point that leaves the Divine realm, Abyss, Abstract, and Dream Realm unchecked right".
"Yes?".
"So why not make the gods all vy for authority and rule over these realities. Without someone powerful to watch over these realities, they would feel they are powerful enough to rule".
"They think that by ruling a reality they can be Primordials". Dad pushed off the wall.
"Yes. But since some realities are taken and players know not to mess with powerful NPCs too early they go for the untaken ones".
"But Ozai owns the divine realm". Dester sounded confused.
"Would it count for the players when he's known as Guardian of the plains not ruler?".
"Oh, this is... Mad".
"Alright, they want the authority of this place and rulership that feels like a good reason to fight over the divine realm. But why the abyss and the Abstract? Okay, I think I know why anyone would want the abstract. But the abyss?". He shook his head.
"And the Dream Realm. Why would you want a realm where you just see and control ... people's...dreams". Dad stared at my smiling face with shock.
"She's evil". Dester muttered face in hands before quickly typing away in my ny Holopad".
"I like this. But there have to be some rules to keep the gods from destroying all you worked for".
"I know. I'll put those in place and my kids will have it all followed ".
"You'll need enforcers you know". Dester half glanced my way. I froze then and sighed.
"I guess that's up to Ozai".
"Anything else we missing?". Dad asked hands flying over his Holopad.
"The nightmares. If they gods are fighting and this keeps the gods from doing their duties efficiently then they become like powerful mobs or bosses".
"Both I guess".
"Here's this thought. If the gods are fighting for authority and rulership, what happens to the mortal realms?".
"Well, players want to be the strongest and best. How about gods vying for faith or...".
"The Beta test". We looked to Dester. "The beta players entering then will be anything from normal mortals to anything. Why not let them choose. Be the heralds of their gods or just normal folks".
"More than that..." Dad smirked. " Prophets, messengers. There to speak of the full launch coming soon. There to draw as much nations to a god as best they can".
"That's , just mad". Dester's eyes were filled with desire.
"I like". I jumped.
