32 - Something new here I come

Logging out and leaving my babies alone was becoming a chore. One made better as Akasha was now there. And I had my family here too. I wondered if I would be able to get both in-game and real-life families to meet.
"I wonder how that would turn out."
Showering felt like heaven given the stiffness in my joints. I was not used to staying in one place for long. I usually walked up and down in my room when I was not playing a game. Even those did not last as long as I normally did in Creation Online.
"Ah well. I may need to start putting in those workout hours." The fleeting thought of going to the gym froze in my mind. "Okay, let us not relapse again."
While I could freely walk around my house without worrying about Dad or a mostly unseen Dexter, I did not think I was ready for a place like the gym. Filled with mostly men.
"No, not really. "Home workouts it is."
Finished with the shower. I did some stretches, lunges, push-ups, bridges, and burpees. It hurt like hell. I took another shower before heading into the kitchen like a hound in search of food.
Mother was already in the kitchen when I arrived. When I looked at the time, I was surprised to see that it was almost 8 p.m.
"How is the game going so far?" I was already noticed.
I nodded absentmindedly before turning to face her. "I was in the game for a long time, eh?" It was more of a wow statement than a question.
"Indeed. Know that you are hungry. Take a seat".
"Thanks, ma". I went to grab a jug of cold water from the fridge before returning to my seat, legs tapping with excitement.
"I see you got something to say. Well don't keep me waiting. Spill. What happened?". Once mom motioned for me to talk the dam that was my mouth broke. I'm not ashamed to say I talked for so long that by the time I was done, we had both finished eating and Dad was already standing to the side listening with interest.
"I still find it weird. A game where the players are creators". Dad shook his head. "I mean, gods, that's one thing. Actually having to make the game yourself". A grin split his cheek the nerdy and excited side in him showing. "Now that's just wild".
"Alright. So from what you're saying you want to create a cultivation system but you think there should be another energy for body cultivation?". Mum asked. It was clear both were now interested in this.
I nodded and Dad shook his head slowly.
"Not necessarily Kiddo". Then he rushed upstairs. Mum laughed. "You did it now. It's been a while since I saw your dad so interested in something like this. Hopefully he's not late for work".
I smiled back before both of us turned to the stairs as feet came stomping down. "So, here this. Back in the old times, by old times I mean 2020s there was a high demand for the Litrpg genre. Basically, like the game templates you mentioned but depending on the setting it could be real life, fantasy, or just virtual".
He clicked away at the Holopad he brought and opened up a screen. Mum walked around to see the screen too.
"Here is this". He pulled up a page on some fantasy stuff. More specifically something about Qi. "Qi was the energy back then mostly used in cultivation. There was mana cultivation too but that was rarely used. Now get this ..". He pulled up a new screen and showed me something.
"Qi was used mostly for ...get it. Body cultivation. Infact it was a requirement to be able to wield Qi". He looked at me. I blinked.
"Wait are you saying..."
"Just use this Akasha energy of yours and make it both a body cultivation energy and mind. Think of it like this. Qi back then was used by mortals. Qi was a great energy that could cripple and destroy mortals, but it could also build their bodies". He pointed at a line for me.
"If your Akasha is an energy for magic then let building up the body be a requirement to utilize it perfectly".
I blinked again. Then shook my head. "Say Dad. Would you like to be one of my gods. The pay is generous, I swear it". Making the best puppy eyes I could at him I waited. Mum chuckled behind us while Dad just shivered visibly.
"Got to go". Turning the man dashed for the stairs.
"No, Dad come back. I mean it, there will be good money from it... Dad!!". Grumbling at his escape I turned to Mum. She gave me a look then turned and walked away while waving a finger at me.
Clicking my tongue I sat back down. For a second I just smiled at the antics of my parents. It was nice to finally act normally with them. Very nice. Patting my chest at the warmth I felt there I chuckled for a minute.
"Now let's see this Qi thing. How it would apply to Akasha".

THIRD PERSON POV
Akasha watched with a sigh as the oldest of the children sat by the window of the palace. His mind was focused his thoughts sharpened. Akasha knew what he had to do. She knew it could either bear fruit or go wrong.
Still, the chances of it going wrong were lesser than initially expected. Still, she wasn't that bothered. No, her attention was even less with the children. No, it was focused on something more disturbing.
Her very self existed in all subatoms of the universe. Which was why she knew and saw everything. From the prowling white dragon called Molliwag down in Origin to the very lost worlds that lacked light.
What she could see was very disturbing. Well not disturbing in the sense of heart chilling but disturbing in the sense of problematic and ignorant. The tendrils of what Akasha had come to deduce to be the system was slowly creeping away from the worlds, the realities and slowly retreating to the borders of the universe.
This meant that slowly Akasha was becoming the one true force of all the universe. While it didn't mean she was the greatest of the energies it meant had duties were increasing.
From Knowledge bearer.
Magical Source Point.
To the controller of all realities.
'The Creator is so going to freak at this'. She mused. Still, she was partially curious, interested even. What could she do and how could she do it? It was becoming very interesting.
She could dictate how to adjust the rotation of the rings or the rivers. To make it slower or faster. The energies and the realities themselves were now under her purview. She could dictate whether each energy had saturated into the river for a specific time or not. Stop it if I wished or let it continue.
'Hopefully, she comes up with an idea for the cultivation so we can focus on how to regulate all this power'.
Akasha knew that the Creator had been worried about the issue with the nightmares. But it could be solved with the dream realm. But it was all dependent on crossing the requirements.
Requirements she knew were getting tougher and tougher. Infact it would be almost certain that failing the requirements would give rise to nightmares too.
Her focus returned to Haero as a pulse of energy from him caught her attention. The Akasha mirages already knew all I had to do was access said information. And it was huge.
'That explains the new glow. He must have been pretty close while on Sol'.

Akasha couldn't help but hear the future sigh from the Creator. This was getting more and more hectic to keep track of. It was a wonder she was created. Her Creator's universe was indeed a maddening place.
There was a lot to calculate and a lot to record. If Akasha was any other being, mortal or Transcendent, she should have felt a sense of fatigue at the mere thought of the work. She didn't. Infact It all excited her. She could already visualize the Rack Of Life brimming with balls of knowledge.
"Hehehe". Eyes leaving the still form of Haero as his body tried to assimilate the intense changes the day had graced him with Akasha began her work.
It was long and strenuous work. But at least half of it should have been done before the Cultivation plan was done. With the mirages in every atom of this universe, Akasha had all the knowledge information, connections, and position needed to work.
"Something new here I come". First, it was time to regulate and make all the realities a well-oiled machinery. A cog of wheels that worked with one and the other but that could still function on its lonesome.
