These recordings are lovely. You could have used them to create an album of love songs. My only personal exception is on Sweet Scented Figure. I will always love the recording you did for us that was more rough/twangy. That is how I see that song done best. You really did an excellent job. You must be a very sentimental and caring person.

Bargain! Aw yeah, good old K&Ks. I’ve heard great things about those Radial PZs. Only used the Pro DI in the past before. Might look at one for Norman 🤔, it’s always needed a bit of love on the signal path being a passive pickup! Take out some honky and quacky mids on the eq and she’s good to go 😁

Haha!!! Happy days, dear fellow. Glad you both enjoyed the fuzzy warmth of the sound waves! Yeah the Alvarez Bari cost me £180 (used) The K&K pickup works really went into a Radial PZ DI mixed with the old 414. The DI signal helps to give the whole sound that full but firm low end

Young chap! That was an absolutely sublime version of Cinnamon, mate 🤩. It had a real warmth to it, Jazz was of course made up 🙏🏼. The whole set was sounding superb, those mics 👌🏼. As for the acoustic baritone, that translated really well, too. What is it, an Alvarez?
