Pepper VS Temptation - Part 15
~A Persephone and Tritonia Story~
(edited by Tiliquain and Secretskunk)
Charlie was panting when she answered, "Hello?"
Punching the talk button on the intercom, I said, "We need to have a chat."
"Okay, give me five minutes. I just got done working out and need to jump in the shower," Charlie said.
"See you in five," I said, not believing her at all. There was no way she was just "working out" after being that hard.
While I waited, I went into the habitat and looked at the room that had been my prison. I couldn't even bring myself to walk inside. If I wasn't allowed to sleep in Helja's room, I'd ask to have some of my stuff brought in so it felt more like a home and less like a jail cell. Before the misery I'd felt while locked in there could wrap its tentacles around me, I shut the door and secured it.
After buzzing the intercom outside Charlie's door, I leaned against the wall next to it to wait. When Charlie opened her door, I almost sneezed at the potent lusty equine scent that wafted out.
"Come on in," she said, stepping aside.
Walking past her into her room, I said, "Sorry for bothering you, but I wanted to come clean before I lost my nerve."
Shutting and securing the door behind me, she said, "It's no problem. Your timing is excellent, actually." She must have gotten off real good, because she was all smiles right now. "What's on your mind?"
"You okay if I just go into some sex details? It's gonna be really awkward to explain this if I try to be clinical about it," I said.
"Sure, I get the feeling that when it comes to Helja, there's gonna be a lot of sex details." She shrugged.
"Yeah." I bit my lip, trying to find any way to explain stuff so it didn't sound like me recounting a kinky fanfiction story. I decided that was a lost cause and just went right into it. "I had sex with Septimus a while back and he's been acting like a sportsball player that's just discovered he loves dick. He was being all needy and Helja stoked his fire and I didn't help cool it down. So the three of us ended up having sex."
Charlie pointed at her nose. "You see these huge horse nostrils?"
"Yeah?" I said.
"Who's having sex with whom on this base is no longer something I have to guess at," she said. "I've known you and Septimus were intimate since the first day it happened and I doubted he'd be able to keep his paws off of Helja. We know that builders are not secreted accidentally, so I'm not concerned about your, or Septimus's, sexual activity as long as you don't allow more alien hybridization to occur."
Of course she knew. A rush of embarrassment made my skin hot. "I wish I didn't have to say there's more," I said.
"Oh?" One of Charlie's ears lowered in question.
I cringed. "Septimus asked Helja to change him so we'd fit inside him and asked me to make his clit into a cock and I was too horny to stop so he now has modified genitalia. It's still my fuck up, though, and I don't want use being horny as an excuse."
Charlie's face got severe, her eyes were narrow and her ears were flat against her head. "I take it he's being converted into an alien hybrid like you, then?"
"No, I wouldn't let that happen without asking you first," I said.
"Good." Her face softened. "Septimus has a, let's call it complicated, relationship with humanity. He's technically human, but has done a lot to distance himself from that fact. I was certain the moment that I learned about Helja's capabilities that he'd want to be an alien hybrid. The fact that he's not already on his way to being one is actually one of my best case scenarios."
"You're okay with what we did, then?" I asked.
"'Okay' isn't the right word. I expected this," she said. "It's part of why anyone who comes into contact with Helja, or you, will need to get weekly medical screenings.
"Based on what happened with me, I thought you'd be way more angry," I said.
"The state of Septimus's genitals and sexual relationships aren't things I need to put in reports to HQ. In fact, I'm going to pretend it never happened unless he starts becoming an alien hybrid," she said. "From the moment I added Septimus to the team, I knew what to expect and I've been able to plan around him. You blindsided me."
"I'm sorry," I said, looking at my footpaws.
"You don't need to apologize anymore. All we can do is keep moving forward," Charlie said. "I can't tell you how relieved I am to have you offering information like this freely."
"Honestly, I wish he would've come himself," I said. "I tried to convince him, but he wouldn't budge."
"I could set my watch to his behavior and I would be astonished if he came to me to tell me something like this," she said. "Is anything else on your mind?"
"D-do you still care about me?" I asked.
"I wouldn't have fought to keep you here if I didn't care." She said. "But if you're asking about a type of caring that goes beyond that, I can't go there right now."
"I just wish I could hug you," I said. "I hurt you so much and I--" My eyes were wet.
Charlie pulled me into her arms and squeezed me firmly. She was as thoroughly muscled as ever and the horse fur of her arms was short and soft. "Pepper, I need you to let go of your guilt. What's done is done and you're going to trip and fall if you're always looking back."
I gave her a squeeze, pulling her against me and letting my eyes leave a bit of wetness on her uniform jacket. "I missed this so much."
She held me tight for another minute before letting me go and taking a step back. One of her ears flicked from getting caught in an air current as she said, "Were you able to heal fully from your run in with the weapons platform?"
My crotch heated up as I thought about pretending to still be hurt so I could get some of Charlie's healing milk. Instead, I said, "Yeah, I feel fine now...Is there a reason you haven't given Gillon some of your milk so he can heal his broken ankle?"
Charlie blushed. "Septimus and Kirkii approved it for medical use, but the healing effect only survives for a minute or two after it leaves my body. Also, we haven't tested it in all that many situations, so it's considered more of an emergency thing."
"Ahh, that makes sense," I said.
"I've gotta lead a briefing on the Spectral Thieves in twenty minutes, so we should wrap this up. I'm happy to talk more later."
The hug had helped me a hell of a lot overall, but she still felt distant and that made my heart ache. "Just one more thing. I'm thinking this is a 'no,' but I thought I'd ask anyway: Can Septimus and I stay in Helja's room tonight? I really don't want to sleep in the brig."
"Sure, you two can sleep there whenever you like. You're all adults living on the same base, after all," Charlie said.
My jaw dropped. "W-what? You're fine with it?"
"You came here of your own accord to report things to me that I would've had no way of knowing and you did so because you're respecting the boundaries I have set," she said. "Helja's capabilities worry me. She can produce microscopic robots and knows far more about the Repository than we do. But I don't see why you two having a sleepover with her should be a concern since it has zero effect on her threat level. Plus, the more she talks to you, the more we learn about her. So, spend as much time with her as you want as long as it doesn't interfere with your other orders."
"Thank you," I said.
"Don't thank me, in fact, it's better if you don't bring up details about your personal time with her unless it's somehow relevant to your mission," Charlie said. "That way, we can make double sure that personal details of your relationship with Helja don't make it back to HQ."
"You really don't want them to know about it?" I asked.
"If HQ found out that you and Helja were partners or had a particularly strong relationship, they might get the idea that they could grab you out from under me and take control of this operation," Charlie said. "So we need them to see this as an entire team effort as much as possible."
"That's good to know," I said. "Should I go to the Spectral Thief briefing with you?"
Charlie said, "Trust me, I'll keep your capabilities in mind as we formulate a plan. Go start your sleepover and get a good night's sleep so you've got lots of energy for Spectral Thief hunting tomorrow."
I nodded. "Sounds like a plan. See you later." I turned toward the door.
"One more thing," Charlie said. "I've planned a Helja briefing to bring the entire team up to speed at oh nine hundred tomorrow and I want you there."
"Okay, I'll be there." I looked down at my T-shirt and sweat pants. "Can we look into getting me a uniform that I can actually move around in?"
"I'll put Gillon on that after the briefing, but it might take a couple weeks."
"It can't be helped." I sighed. "I'm gonna need custom clothes from now on."
"I know exactly how you feel. My recent growth spurt put me in the same boat."
Heat rushed to my crotch as I glanced at the nice big package between her thighs. Even if it took months, I was determined to ride Charlie again someday. I was just too into her to give up.
* * * * *
Now that she was healthy again, it wasn't clear whether Helja actually slept. Like, she remained still, but I got the feeling she was treating sleeping like seven and a half hours of cuddle time. When I woke up, she had a handpaw on my morning wood, encouraging it to leak pre while she ground her prick against Septimus, who was trapped between us. This quickly devolved into me penetrating Helja's upper bumpy passage while shoving my tail into the other passage of her stretchy snatch. She fucked Septimus as her tail tussled with his cock. We all soon came buckets.
Then, Helja suggested a shower. And it devolved into more sex, just like she'd planned.
Once Septimus and I were cleaned up and ready, Septimus held my hand as we walked to the briefing. Percy had taken a couple weeks to be this comfortable with hand holding and such. Fuck, I missed her.
As we got to the control room, Septimus took his hand back. I was relieved that he wasn't ready for everyone to know about us. Compared to Percy, Charlie, and Helja, I didn't know much about him beyond his sexuality.
We were early enough that not everyone was there yet. Percy was talking to Alphonse and Charlie was checking through her notes at the head of the table.
I liked how this room wasn't all that cramped. The ceiling went up five meters and it was thirteen meters deep while being sixteen meters wide. The conference table and Alphonse's desk looked a bit small in it, but the projector screen was nice and big.
Lying against the wall opposite Alphonse's desk were enough PIKL units for everyone, a bunch of thick black riot shields, combat helmets, laser goggles, and a laundry cart full of water balloons filled with what looked like black paint.
On the conference table were the presentation pointer that Percy had used to defeat the pool toys, two high-power laser pointers, a cookie jar with "Danger: Armor Piercing Cookies" written on it in old-timey letters, a medieval stiletto in a leather sheath, and a bright orange fifty foot measuring tape that looked like it had been stolen from someone's garage.
"What's all this for?" I asked Septimus.
"After the briefing, we're going on a Spectral Thief hunt," Septimus said. "Charlie will go over the details once Kirkii and I are done presenting on you and Helja."
"I hope it's less explicit than the presentation you gave Charlie," I said.
He pulled his tablet out of his little teal satchel, saying, "That reminds me, I need to make sure everything's properly censored."
"Yes, do that," I said, blushing.
He went over to the table and sat in the chair opposite Charlie while I walked up to Percy and Alphonse.
Percy glanced at me before saying to Alphonse, "I'll be there, you had me at epic fantasy and hand puppets."
"Cool," Alphonse said.
Percy walked up to me and said, "Can we chat outside?"
"Sure," I said, getting a pang of nervousness as I walked with her into the hallway.
She looked at my muzzle, flopped-over ears, and the baggy clothes covering my form. "Wow, I can hardly recognize you," she said.
"I feel the same, but I love the new me too much for it to bug me," I said.
She nodded. "Honestly, it suits you."
"Aww, you really think so?" I asked, feeling a bit giddy.
Her eyes darted to the bulge my package was making in my sweatpants. "Definitely, I always felt like you were jealous of me and Charlie."
"You're not wrong." I sighed. "And I chose the worst way to deal with it. Like, I probably would've gotten what I wanted eventually if I just asked."
"No argument here," Percy said, crossing her arms.
"I feel awful about what I did," I said, my ears drooping.
"I know." She paused. "I just need us to take things really slow, okay?"
"That's fine," I said, trying not to get my hopes up.
Boom, Abrams, and Gillon walked past us into the control room.
"Once the Spectral Thief thing is over, Alphonse is planning a marathon for a fun show he just started getting into. I think it would be a good chance for us to sit together and hang out. Septimus too, if you'd like. I haven't had much chance to talk to him and have always wanted to get to know him.
"I'd like that," I said. "And I don't know whether he'd take you up on the invite, but I can extend it and see what he says."
Percy looked past me as her eyes widened, ears shot straight up, and jaw dropped open showing off her pointy shark teeth.
Turning around, I saw Tritonia's synthetic naga body slithering up to the door. Now that I was seeing her move in it, her body was a thousand times more badass and sexy. Her cobra hood was really elegant and seemed to be somewhat controllable. She was wearing a stylish navy blue and cyan POSC jacket that went wonderfully with her pearlescent white scales and the gold trim between them. The jacket also fit her pert round tits perfectly.
Tritonia stopped the moment I turned to face her, looking me up and down, her eyes noticing the unhideable bulge in my crotch. "I wanted to tell you earlier, but we were fighting the Spectral Thieves: I really like the new you."
"And I really like the new you too," I said. "How's it feel?"
"Fantastic!" She did a little happy dance. "I love being able to move on my own, feel things touch my scales, and the sensation of breathing and a heartbeat even though I don't really have a pulmonary system. Everything Helja did is wonderful and I keep having to remind myself that I'm not biological."
"I'm dealing with the same thing, actually. I ate borax yesterday."
"You what?" Percy said.
"I needed boron to grow new fur," I said.
"There's boron in your fur?" Percy and Tritonia asked in unison.
"I think it'll all get explained in the briefing," I said, overwhelmed about the idea of explaining everything myself.
"Why did Charlie approve your new body for use so quickly?" I asked.
Tritonia saw something through the door. "Charlie's waving me in, I think she wants to get the briefing started."
"Ahh, you can just tell us after," I said.
"Sounds good," Tritonia said.
Walking in with Percy, I sat next to Septimus and Percy took the seat to my right.
All eyes were on Tritonia as she slithered through the door. Kirkii was up on the big screen, her tentacles displaying O.O as a simple emoticon. Tritonia crossed her arms and didn't meet their eyes, being adorably shy.
About twenty minutes later, everyone's eyes were on the projector screen as Septimus was trying to find the video of me jumping. Since he was going through the gallery on his tablet, random pictures were popping up.
Charlie said, "Forget it, you can just show us la--" Her eyes widened and her muzzle dropped open in shock as the insides of her horse ears blushed bright pink.
On the screen was a glorious uncensored shot of my back end that Septimus had taken earlier this morning while claiming it was for science. My legs were crossed, trapping my thick more-than-a-foot-long canine erection against the backs of my legs while part of my plump wet pussy was hidden by my huge fist-sized balls.
I blushed and squirmed in my seat as my prick made a tent in my sweatpants.
Alphonse said, "Oooh," only to cover his mouth.
Boom said, "Daaaaang."
Charlie said, "Septimus."
Gillon made a steeple with his hands and tried to pretend he hadn't seen anything. Abrams just stared, narrowing his eyes in confusion like he couldn't believe hybrid porn was up on the screen. Percy bit her lip as her cheeks pinkened.
"Septimus!" Charlie said.
"One second, almost got it," Septimus said.
Tritonia had just gotten a face so I didn't know the nuances in her facial expressions yet, but I think she was fascinated.
Kirkii displayed exclamation points all over her tentacles.
"Septimus!" Charlie said. "Look at the screen."
Septimus turned to look and said, "Oh God!" before switching to a side view comparison image he'd taken of me and Helja.
I could smell a bit of arousal from Percy and Charlie. There was other arousal going on, but I couldn't pin it down since I didn't know any of the other team members that well yet.
Once Septimus and Kirkii finished their presentation, the briefing dragged on as Charlie explained all the stuff she'd explained to me, including the threat Helja posed. The moment she was done, I made sure to apologize to everyone. As people were thanking me for saving the base and also processing what I'd done, I smelled something burning. Like a welding shop.
Looking around the room, I didn't see anything out of the ordinary. But since the smell was getting stronger, I said, "Can we stop for a sec? I think I smell smoke."
Charlie sniffed the air. "Huh, I don't smell anything."
"The particulate count is a bit high," Tritonia said, her cobra hood flattening against her neck a bit as she pondered the reason for her observation.
Ignoring that I probably looked silly, I got up and sniffed around Alphonse's desk, thinking it was one of his computer components going out. When I couldn't find anything, my ears unfolded and stood up as I tried to hear a failing computer fan or something. I heard a faint crackly hissing sound from the door and then I noticed a white-hot needle sticking through it, slowly cutting a hole in it. The needle had cut through a fourth of the circumference of the three-meter-wide door. The burning smell was intense and I could feel the heat from the needle on my wet doggo nose. The high-pitched sound it was making was so bad that my ears folded down and protected themselves from it.
My chest tightened as I said, "Someone's cutting through the door."
"What?" Charlie got out of her chair and came over while everyone waited in nervous silence. The moment she saw it, she turned around and said, "Okay team, we're ready for this. Remember your roles from the briefing last night and make sure you keep your entire body behind your RACS at all times."
"What do I do, I wasn't there," I said.
"You and Tritonia are going to each grab a RACS and stand in front of the paint balloons. The moment you spot an enemy, get them covered in paint to defeat their cloak," Charlie said as she grabbed the stiletto off the table and attached the sheath to her belt so she had it at her side and ready to stab things.
"What's a RACS?" I asked.
Charlie pointed at the thick riot shields. "Regenerating Amorphous Carbon Shield. They're based on an NPO we found a few years back."
"Having PIKL units created the need for an effective defense against them," Gillon said as he grabbed a RACS.
Boom grabbed the measuring tape and hooked it on her belt before grabbing a RACS and a PIKL unit. Percy grabbed the extending presentation pointer before doing the same. The laundry cart was against the wall and Tritonia and I got in front of it, protecting ourselves and it with our RACS. I found the RACS to be a bit bulky and heavy, but my strength made it pretty easy to deal with. Everyone else was equipped within three minutes and lined up in front of the conference table.
Watching them cut through the door was like watching an infuriatingly slow second hand traverse a clock face. And the fact that they were cutting through thick metal while only emitting a faint high-pitched whine was eerie.
Charlie broke up the monotony by saying, "Given that the enemy is going on the assault, they think they've got us, that the weapons platform they've built is enough to wipe us out. We cannot let that happen. If they gain control of this base, they will have access to the largest store of dangerous objects on the planet. And what they can build with this undersea armory may overwhelm every military, defeat every defense. But we will succeed. We have a plan to defeat their cloak, we have the best laser defense known to mankind, and they are coming to us when we have all our toys in one place. Make them regret challenging us at our strongest. Keep the world safe for one more day."
I knew Charlie wasn't as confident as she sounded. We were boxed in with no way to retreat if things went south. The enemy would be shooting fish in a barrel. Even so, there was nothing we could do other than wait and hope that Charlie was right: that we'd all make it through this skirmish alive.

Solid chapter 👌 It's great to see Pepper starting to make amends with Charlie and Percy. It's never going to be the same for her, but at least she's starting the process. I think it's pretty safe to say that Pepper couldn't resist that temptation after all 😜 I'm looking forward to the next chapter, it sounds like things are about to get nuts 🤟
