Patreon Short 14 - New Year's Deer - Part (4/4)
🕑 Added 2019-10-25 19:28:02 +0000 UTC(Part 1) (Part 2) (Part 3) (------)
This story was very challenging because I wanted everything to fit together and try to have almost everything mentioned in the story matter. I've been making an effort to tighten up my writing and it's paying off, but I'm definitely still learning things and lose some speed when I write something like New Year's Deer. I think it's well worth it, however.
I've attached all four updated files so they all say Part # of 4 in the filename, and you can be sure every file has the most recent edits.
Ezzie, Val, Emma, and Rosa race to stop Shelein from causing a global anthro herm outbreak. Shelein has a huge lead and is willing to do anything to ensure she succeeds. It's a struggle to stay alive, let alone stop Shelein's plan and Emma's quick thinking will determine whether they live and stop Shelein or die trying.
New Year's Deer - Part 4

Don, Val, and I cleaned up in the bathroom while Ezzie and Rosa called their superiors. It seemed we'd given everyone the idea that it was time to get washed up because there was a line for the bathroom when we left. I looked at the strange mix of expressions on their new anthro faces: concern, joy, sadness, overwhelm, frustration, and delight. It seemed no two people had the same reaction to suddenly being an anthro herm. There had been some anthros in the commons prior to Rosa's field, and they too were all herms now. I hoped this experience wouldn't haunt them. That they'd be able to continue their lives once they were returned to their original form. And, the ones that decided to stay this way, I hoped they'd extract as much joy from it as I had.
As I got up to Rosa and Ezzie, Ezzie said, "Mages are already on their way and will be here soon."
Rosa said, "We figured out that Steve was the source of the false leads Ezzie was sent out on."
"At least we know who it is now?" I offered.
Rosa nodded. "It's a start."
Ezzie clapped her forepaws. "Okay, I need to grow some fur and then we need to get ready to go back to Emma's dorm room."
"Grow fur?" Don asked.
"I don't want to freeze my tail off when we're changing locations," Ezzie explained.
Raising an eyebrow, Don said, "Can't you just go back to your anthro form and--"
"She can't change back," I said.
"I'll go fill the cops in," Val said. "They should probably bring winter clothes and stuff for people who need a different size now. Also, Rosa looks like your size, should I get her some of your clothes, Emma?"
"Sure!" I said.
"That's very kind of you," Rosa said. She was looking utterly exhausted now. Her eyes were half-lidded and she was having trouble keeping them open.
"It's no problem." I smiled.
"Least we can do." Val started heading toward the entrance.
Ezzie and Don got into a technical discussion about Ezzie's inability to transform that went into areas I had very little training in.
Rosa was looking even more sleepy now. I said to her, "I'm gonna get you some paper towels you can clean up with. You just relax, okay?"
I went to the upstairs bathroom, which didn't have a line, to get Rosa some wet and dry paper towels. Then I helped her clean up. With her all clean, I just let her lay in my lap and doze until Val came back.
Getting Rosa dressed was a challenge because she was so worn out that her limbs were just kinda flopping in the direction they needed to go. Val, Don, and I cuddled Rosa and let her nap while Ezzie briefed the mages that the council had sent. The whole time, she was growing fur the same green as her lighter green scales complete with darker green spots in the same pattern that was under the fur.
None of us really felt like talking, so I just enjoyed the cuddling and drifted in and out of sleep. Rosa wasn't the only person feeling drained.
When Ezzie came trotting up to us, her fur was over an inch long and she was looking adorably floofy. "Why didn't y'all go back to your room?"
"Because Rosa was sleeping and we didn't want to wake her," I said.
Val snickered.
"What?" I looked at her with one ear lowered.
With a smirk, Val said, "I was thinking we should let Rosa ride Ezzie back to the room."
I grimaced thinking that might be a bit demeaning since I doubted Ezzie's feral form was for giving people rides.
"Sure! Help her up onto my back," Ezzie said with a twinkle in her eye.
I balked at Ezzie's carefree attitude toward being ridden.
"Are you serious? You're going to let me ride you?" Rosa had a bit more energy now that she'd napped for twenty minutes.
"Yeah, get on!" Ezzie lay down so that Rosa could easily climb atop her.
We helped Rosa until she was straddling Ezzie's back and clutching her mane. I packed up my failed project and then Ezzie wrapped her tail around it so she could carry it along with Rosa.
I said, "We're all set, I think."
Rosa had a small sleepy smile. Riding a dragon could get anyone's spirits up.
"I'm so jealous of you right now! I can't even..." I wasn't kidding. It looked like fun.
Rosa's smile grew.
"It's not every day I get to be a nishkem," Ezzie said.
"A nishkem?" Val asked.
"Beings we ride from place to place." Ezzie tilted her head for a moment. "Imagine if horses were sentient, looked a bit like dragons, could cast magic using their horns, were all hermaphroditic, and could run over seventy miles an hour with a rider on their back."
"So, nothing like a horse," I said.
"Yeah, horses don't even have horns," Val said.
Ezzie bust out laughing.
We laughed with her, it had been a tense last few hours.
"Never mind what I said. They're nothing like horses. Though, they aren't offended by the comparison," Ezzie said as we set out back to my room.
Once we were back to the dorm room, everyone needed a shower and a nap. Don, Val, and I were in a pile on my bed. Ezzie had curled around Rosa who was happily using her as a mattress. About a half hour later, I heard someone knocking around in the kitchen and got up to help. I also heard muffled moans as I got closer to my door.
When I opened it, I found Ezzie on the couch sucking herself off with nearly half her tail buried in her cunt. Blushing and pulling her muzzle off of her cock, she said, "Sorry, I just get so worked up when I'm like this."
"Well, I've got good masturbation material for when I'm lying in bed tonight." I chuckled.
"Or you could just let me in your bed and I'll help you out." Ezzie covered her mouth. "Damn it! I'm hopeless."
Rosa called from the kitchen. "Nah, Shelein just played her cards very well. She got me good too."
"Do you want to be changed back?" I asked Rosa as I went over to the kitchen and left Ezzie to take care of her stiffy. My thighs ached from all the thrusting I'd done and I was quite satisfied.
"No, what I let slip to Steve wasn't simply that I liked anthro herms. It was that I wanted to try being one. This is exactly what I wanted given to me in the worst way imaginable." She hung her head, lips curving down at the edges of her muzzle. The overhead light in the kitchen was reflecting off the scales between her eyebrows making her look extra pretty.
I put a hand on her shoulder. "I'm so sorry."
She put her hand on mine. "It's okay. We're gonna get that bitch and stop whatever she's planning next."
"Yes we are." I gave her shoulder a squeeze.
"You got any leftovers or something that cooks fast?" She scanned the top of the cupboards. "Oh! You have instant yakisoba! That's way better than ramen."
I opened the pantry and pulled out a stepladder. "I'm gonna have some too."
Val stepped into the room. "Make me some too!"
"And me!" Don said.
"Might as well make some for Ezzie while you're at it," Val said.
"Mind helping me feed all these freeloaders?" I winked at Rosa.
She chuckled. "Sure."
I handed her our instant kettle and said, "Fill this up and get it started while I get utensils and bowls."
Val was now at Ezzie's side with her pants down. "Poor horny dragon. Do you need some help?"
There was a slurp as Ezzie took her mouth off of herself. "Yes, please!"
After pulling off her top, Val lay with her back against Ezzie's eight-breasted belly and eased herself onto Ezzie's dick. Both of them were trying and failing to be quiet. Val was grabbing at her breasts and making deer noises, Ezzie was growling and trilling as she made a rise in Val's belly with her titanic feral prick.
Don was standing in the kitchen while his eyes kept darting over to them. Possibly to distract himself, he asked, "What exactly was that thing that you used to stop the TF field?"
Rosa looked at me intently, curious as well.
I grimaced. "It's my biggest failure. I built it in high school because I wanted to be able to see the night sky anywhere at any time of day without light pollution getting in the way. I knew a lot of theory, but almost nothing about engineering. So, that thing just sucks up magic energy and turns it into light and noise."
"AAAHH! Ezzie, you're fucking huge!" Val cried as she came from getting just over half of Ezzie's prick inside her.
Rosa glanced in Val's direction and blushed before saying, "I'm assuming that's why I stopped affecting people?"
"Yep!"
"Well, I don't think it's a failure, then." She gave a shy smile.
"Heh, I guess not," I said.
"Could I see a schematic of how you built it?" Don asked. "Maybe we can modify one of your prototypes to make a more portable magic siphon."
"Sure." I turned to Rosa, "Can you prepare the yakisoba?"
"Absolutely, I don't want to have to lug around your projector." She raised one of her canine ears. "Did you ever make a non-dysfunctional version of your portable planetarium?"
I smiled. "Yep! I did, actually."
"I want to see it, well, after Shelein's behind bars." She pulled the instant pot off of its base and started pouring hot water into the bowls of yakisoba.
Growling Ezzie thrust almost hard enough to pop the first knot inside Val. "Unf! I want to stuff you with my knots!"
"YES! KNOT ME! CUM INSIDE ME!" Val cried out.
My dick twitched in my sheath as Don and Rosa joined me in watching Ezzie push Val down onto her knots. Val came when the first entered and then screamed obscenities interspersed with "YES" as Ezzie shoved the second one in. Ezzie roared as she unloaded inside Val's tight cunt. Val screamed as her belly rounded out from Ezzie's incredible load.
I went over to Val and gave her a deep kiss while she was still orgasming. She grabbed my antlers and made out with me passionately enough that the tip of my prick was poking out of its sheath by the end.
When she let go, I panted to catch my breath and she said, "Mmm, you made it so much better."
"I'm glad." I kissed her deer nose and then chowed down on yakisoba with Don and Rosa.
After we were finished eating, Don and I looked through my prototypes until we found a neckband that worked like a little portable AC unit. We remade it into a wasteful horror of magic engineering using my failed projector as a guide. It was perfect because it had a remote that allowed us to adjust the amount of magic energy being sucked up by it.
It took about forty minutes to modify and about ten minutes to find the right setting to keep Rosa's field in check without people around her having trouble casting magic. Since everyone was still hungry, Rosa thanked us by making some very tasty beans and rice. The bit of salsa and cumin she threw in made me think of my dad's cooking.
As we were cleaning up after the beans and rice, I asked Ezzie. "Could we just bring my projector and turn Rosa's neckband to max and make it so Shelein can't draw magic?"
"Your projector wouldn't have stopped Rosa when she started affecting people. She had to burn through the magic stored in her body before a siphon would have an effect. She burned through her reserves fast because she was transforming so many people at the same time. Shelein and I have large reserves and we are very efficient with our casting. A siphon would give Shelein an advantage because I'm going to have to heal myself a lot and I'll be burning energy faster than her." Ezzie put a forepaw on my shoulder. "It isn't a bad idea, just not a good idea in this specific situation."
I nodded. "Ahh, okay."
Ezzie asked, "Do you have a prototype shield I can mess with?"
"You don't have to use a prototype. I'm going to make you one once this is all over."
She nodded. "I remember, but I have an idea for going up against Shelein."
"Oh, okay! I actually have a couple." I dug them out of the same drawer at the bottom of my cube shelf that I'd taken the neck AC unit out of. "Think one of these'll do?"
"I'll take both, if you don't mind." Ezzie reached out with her forepaws.
I handed them to her saying, "Want me to help with making adjustments?"
"I'd like that," Ezzie said as I followed her into the living room.
While I helped Ezzie make adjustments to the prototype shields, Val came out of her bedroom, hands full of chainmail. "When we go up against Shelein, I want you to wear this." She put it on the coffee table and the metal rings clinked against each other.
"What is it?" I asked.
"It's a suit of enchanted riveted chainmail complete with a shield built into the helmet. I'll be wearing one too."
"Whoa! How did you end up with an extra one?" I asked.
She blushed. "I had extra enchanted steel and I wanted to give you a present."
I picked up the chainmail shirt and marveled. "It's so cool!"
Ezzie eyed the chainmail. "Ooh, that's some high quality stuff! But, you won't need it. You two aren't going to be facing Shelein directly. Heck, we don't even know for sure where she is."
"I figure we should wear it just in case," Val said.
Ezzie shrugged. "I guess I can't argue with that."
"Why'd you think I'd have a use for chainmail?" I asked Val.
"I wanted to keep you safe." She blushed. "And, I wanted to see you wearing it and nothing else..."
I gaped at her. "Wait, you made sexy medieval lingerie that's actually functional?"
"Well, it's not technically lingerie because it covers the whole body." She tilted her head. "But why wouldn't I make it functional? Chainmail that's just for looks is far less useful. And not nearly as awesome as a present."
"Emma, just so you know, Val's a keeper," Ezzie said.
"Yeah, I'll say!" I got up and kissed Val, still holding the chainmail shirt in my left hand. She was still holding the chainmail pants, so our kiss was a bit awkward.
After the kiss, Rosa asked, "Is it bulletproof?"
Val said, "Yeah! It's bulletproof, knife proof, and well, it's at least as protective as a flack jacket. But it's lighter and less bulky. It can absorb a lot of energy, even taking a lot of the oomph out of blunt trauma."
"Why isn't this in the hands of law enforcement yet?" Rosa asked.
"Because it's my senior project and I'm not graduated yet," Val replied.
"Well, I can't wait to try it out," Rosa said.
"Neither can I!" I bounced excitedly.
Rosa got a call while I was putting on the chainmail pants. She said, "Yeah," a few times, but then she set the phone down on the coffee table and said, "Okay, could you repeat that? You're on speaker."
An old guy with a gravely cowboy accent was on the other end. "When we picked up Steve for questionin', he was gettin' ready to head over to O'Hare airport and had a one-way ticket to Maldives. When we offered a reduced sentence in exchange for his cooperation, he told us that Shelein was supposed to meet him at O'Hare to give him his final cash payment."
"Did he say anything about what Shelein's plans were?" Rosa asked.
"No, but she did mention something that stuck out to him. She said she'd already be there handin' out care packages for other travelers," he said.
"Finally! Shelein made a mistake!" Rosa cheered. "We need to find out who these 'other travelers' are, and we need to get to the airport!"
"We're not sure what to look for," the guy said.
"Well, she's not going to put it in the water or air supply," Val said.
"Yeah, we were talking about that possibility while you were helping Ezzie." Don sat on the couch and continued, "The serum needs to be injected into the bloodstream so that it has the building blocks for multiplying and spreading throughout the body. Plus, there's nothing in the serum itself that's designed to penetrate tissues. It's just there to manipulate magic."
"Well, that's a relief," Rosa said.
Don said, "And she's definitely not using a TF field."
"How can you be so sure?" Val asked.
"Well, I was already unconvinced she'd use a TF field as part of her main plan, but then I realized that the transformations caused by the field are reversible." Don grimaced. "She doesn't want reversible transformations, she wants anthros to outnumber humans."
Ezzie spoke up. "Knowing her, whatever she's doing at the airport, it's going to use something reliable and discreet. She likely wants to escape the country after setting the next part of her plan into motion."
"Oh my god! She already tested out her plan using me and other students!" I blurted out.
"Go on," Rosa said. Everyone's eyes were now on me.
My heart was pounding in my chest as I continued. "We need to look for people who have recently become herms and have had their passports updated for their new anthro faces and are headed out on long flights. Herms she created with her serum ended up transforming many more people than the TF field. And, if she's sending infectious herms all over the world, they can participate even if they have no knowledge of her plan. Their libidos will take care of the rest. They might think they're just getting a free trip."
"Yes, I think that's exactly what she's doing! We also need to cross-reference people who are trying to fly today and expressed interest in being test subjects for the serum. It wouldn't surprise me if she's using that database to find willing participants." Don was pulling nervously at his giraffe ears as he spoke.
"Are you Don? The grad student who worked at her lab?" The man asked.
Don pressed his lips together not liking the sudden attention. "Yes."
"Could you help us link with her research database so we can identify suspect air travelers?" the man asked.
"Yes, absolutely!"
"Thank you," the man paused. "Thanks for your lead as well, Emma, is it?"
"Yes, that's me," I said.
"Rosa, you tell me what resources you need for capturing Shelein and I'll make sure they're available."
"Have my team head out and get them in contact with O'Hare while they're en route. I want to ground all air traffic when we arrive, but not before. We don't want to spook Shelein reason and have her go back into hiding. I'll entrust apprehending possible transformation vectors to you," Rosa said.
"Perfect. Don, I need you to let us into that database ASAP."
"Yes, heading there now." Don hopped up and went to the coat closet.
"I'm sending a team to the lab. If you see anything suspicious, do not enter the lab without them," the man said.
"Roger! Don, out!" Don dashed out the door.
Rosa leaned toward her phone. "Conway, two things: First, I've been transformed into an anthro and will be sending a headshot units can use to identify me. Second, all units must stay at least five hundred feet from Shelein until we get there. She's dangerous, very perceptive, and unpredictable."
"What? You're an anthro now?" Conway's voice had lost all of it's gravity due to the sheer amount of surprise.
"It was Shelein's doing, I'll explain once this is all over," Rosa said.
"Understood. I'll be in touch. Oh, and Ezzie, we've unblocked your number."
"Good! Now let's go get that bitch!" Ezzie said.
"Indeed. I'm wishing y'all the best of luck and a successful mission. Rosa, please make sure everyone has my contact info."
"Will do!" Rosa ended the call.
After we all had Conway's contact info, Rosa looked at Ezzie for a moment and blinked. "Do any of you have access to a van?"
"My mom has one, but she's using it," I said. "Why do we need one?"
Rosa pointed at Ezzie.
Ezzie sighed.
Val started laughing and I said, "Oh," feeling a bit dense.
"It's probably best if we get an FBI van, anyway." Rosa picked up her phone and called Conway. "Hi, can we get a van with some space in the back?...Thanks, make sure it has lights, we'll be contending with rush hour."
After hanging up, Rosa got her tactical earpiece and radio out of her bag and put them on. The earpiece was connected to a coiled tube just like the ones I'd seen agents wear on TV. It didn't fit at all with the dark blue jeans, light orange V-neck, and blue-grey cardigan I'd given her to wear. She looked like some random anthro dragon jackal hybrid who was about to have a study session at a coffee shop.
Pushing the talk button on her radio, she said, "This is Agent Rosa Guerra. I want eyes on all O'Hare entry points." She let go of the talk button. "Ezzie, do you have any idea what sort of disguise Shelein might use?" Then she depressed the button and motioned for Ezzie to move in closer.
"She wouldn't go too far from her original form. Her shapeshifting is not very advanced and she doesn't have the patience for relearning motor tasks in different forms. And disguising herself as a human would go against her ideals." Ezzie tilted her head as she thought for a moment. "Look for a bunny anthro of similar size and weight who looks confident and arrives with a couple wolf anthros. She's a bit paranoid and hires mist wolves as bodyguards whenever she's doing something big."
"Did you get all that?" Rosa asked the people on the other end of the radio. "Good hunting. Rosa out."
The van only took ten minutes to arrive. In that time, Val put her chainmail on over her clothes. Now we both looked like LARP rejects. I could tell Rosa and Ezzie were trying not to laugh at us. Looks didn't matter as far as I was concerned, I felt safer and that's all that counted.
Ezzie climbed into the back of the van wearing two of my modified shield generators around her neck. The moment we were buckled in, Rosa turned on the sirens and started driving like a trained professional. She knew the turning radius, the stopping distance, and what spaces the van could fit through down to the inch. It was terrifying even though she had full control of the vehicle the entire time. Val and I were hanging on to our seats for dear life. Ezzie was using her claws and tail to brace herself in the back. Her claws were probably damaging the van interior, but I doubted Rosa cared.
Seeing the effect of the siren and lights was incredibly satisfying. Cars on the roads moved out of the way as if we all had mind control powers. Rosa could even speed down the shoulder like it was no big deal. Once I got over the fear due to the rough driving, I felt like we were on some sort of deranged amusement park ride. Val was soon laughing and whooping like an eight year old. Ezzie was not enjoying herself, however.
Under and overpass, a sea green sedan ahead of us pulled into our lane. The shoulder was too small, and as our van barreled toward the car, I thought we were done for. I could count my heartbeats as Rosa slammed on the brakes and swerved into a tiny space between cars that offered her just enough stopping room. Ezzie lost her grip and slammed against the side of the van with a loud thud.
Rosa called to the back once we were at a full stop, "Ezzie, are you okay?"
"Y-yeah, just a bit discombobulated." She replied as she got back up and stuck her claws in the holes she'd already made. "Okay, go."
About five minutes later, Rosa said into her radio, "Negative, do not approach Shelein. Even if she somehow gets through the security line before we get there, we can just apprehend her afterward. Ideally, after she's done something to further incriminate herself."
As we pulled into the airport, Rosa said, "We're almost in position. Make sure airport security is ready to aid in clearing out civilians if Shelein puts up a fight. Ground all air traffic in five minutes, starting now."
Rosa parked the van, under an overhang that jutted out over the drop off lane for departures. The glass doors and two-story-tall glass windows allowed one to easily see the airline baggage check areas beyond. Getting out of the car, Rosa ran to the back and opened it. "Ezzie, you're on point. Emma and Val, you two stay near the van and report anyone who acts suspicious." She pulled the remote control for the AC unit that was keeping her transformation field in check out of her pocket. "I don't want to chance this thing getting hit and shutting down the only thing keeping everyone safe."
"Good thinking," I took it and put it in my purse.
Then she pulled two earpieces out of the back of the van and adjusted some settings on the attached radios before handing them to me and Val. "Okay, push to talk, that's all you need to know."
Putting in the earpiece, I felt like a badass. Now I looked like I was in the secret service or a bodyguard. It was so cool!
Rosa started introducing us on the radio, but someone interrupted her with, "Rosa! The target is moving toward your location!"
Rosa spun toward the entrance to the airport saying. "Ezzie! She's coming right for us!"
Ezzie was already in a four-legged spring toward the entrance. There was a sickening thunk as Ezzie's right hind leg fell out from under her. The tall window nearest Ezzie was cracked to hell with a conical hole in it where whatever had hit her had traveled through it.
Shelein was standing right on the other side of the window next to the one she'd shattered. She'd changed her look a bit, going for light brown fur with black on the tips of her ears and feet. It was a stark change from her normal medium grey rabbit look. No one would have guessed she was a threat to anyone at her just-over-five-feet-of-height if it weren't for the contempt-filled smile on her muzzle.
A bunch of cops tried to point their guns at Shelein, but she tugged them out of their hands two by two with her telekinesis in a split second before anyone could pull the trigger. One guard had a death grip on her gun. So, Shelein was dragging her across the floor while she kept trying to aim her gun at Shelein.
Ezzie roared using this distraction to pounce right through the damaged window. The safety glass couldn't take it and came apart in large cracked patches. Rosa dodged a flying icicle from a mist wolf just on the other side of the broken window. He was breathing out a cloud of mist and was partially obscured by it. Rosa shot at him but the bullet hit a cloud and fell uselessly to the ground.
FBI agents jumped out of parked cars and stormed into the building. They immediately started helping screaming terrified people flee the airport.
I didn't get to watch any more of the scene because an icicle hit me in the stomach. The chainmail blocked it from sticking into me, but I fell to the ground anyway gasping for air. Val made a battle cry, grabbed a chain with a heavy point on one end that she'd affixed to her side, and sent it flying at the mist wolf who'd attacked me. He was near the outdoor baggage drop off. Val manipulated the chain by plucking invisible harp strings. Despite her best efforts, he caught it in a cloud of mist. Then he sent another icicle at my head, but I activated the shield and put it in the way. As the icicle crunched against my shield I felt like my heart was going to burst. He was advancing toward us with every move.
Someone was actually trying to kill me! It was him or me! I got to my feet and looked my attacker in the eye. He was lighter-colored than the one that had attacked Rosa and had some white-tuffed fur on his cheeks. Great, he was evil...and gorgeous.
He made a spear out of ice and jabbed it at Val. I tried to shoot my shield at his face, but he blocked it without even looking at me. Meanwhile, Val yelped as she got slammed against the van. She tried to wrap the chain around his arm, but he pulled the spear back and then shot an icicle at her head. Her head whipped back and hit the side of the van. I sent my shield at his face trying to give Val an opening, but he blocked it again without batting an eye.
Rosa was struggling against her assailant as well. She had a nasty cut on her shoulder and her gun was useless. He stabbed her in the thigh with an ice sword and then grabbed her by the throat with his claws.
Our wolf was coming in for another attack. Since piercing attacks hadn't worked, he'd formed his ice spear into a war hammer.
Val yelled, "High low!" and then sent her chain at the mist wolf's head.
I sent my shield at his feet and knocked him over. But he'd grabbed Val's chain and ended up yanking her toward him. Then he braced his war hammer against the ground and let Val's weight do the rest. She cried out in pain as I heard a crack. Though, I couldn't be sure because my ears were ringing from Rosa's gun shots.
"You fucker!" I yelled as I shot my shield at his ankle. Trapped between my shield and the concrete, his ankle crunched much like Val's ribs had.
He yelped in pain and then scrambled to cast some magic.
"Oh no you don't!" Val yelled as she got her chain around his neck and constricted it.
His gasp of surprise was more like a strangled gurgle.
Rosa did something right out of a movie. As the wolf tried to strangle the life out of her, she turned to the side, brought her left arm down across his, forcing his elbows to bend. As he lost his grip on her neck, she turned back toward him striking him in his muzzle with her elbow. Then she took the butt of her gun and twisted her waist one more time smacking him in the temple with it. He crumpled to the ground having seriously underestimated his foe.
Our mist wolf wasn't done, he grabbed the chain around his neck and started freezing it over with ice. As the chain started to groan from the ice separating its links, Rosa shot him in the side. I set my foot down, I'd been about to stomp his junk.
Ezzie stumbled out through the broken window bleeding profusely from wounds on her legs and tail. Shelein was pushing her back with one of those metal poles that helped direct security lines. "You fuck up everything I do! I'm gonna make sure you don't get back up this time!"
Shelein motioned to someone just inside the building. A mist wolf lunged at Ezzie with an ice spear. Ezzie attacked from his left side with her tail and from his right with a claw. She sliced him open across the belly. But as she was doing so, Shelein bashed her head with a second pole.
Ezzie toppled over onto her side. My shields had barely protected her head from being smashed. Shelein took the brief second where Ezzie was still coming back to her senses to glance in our direction. Then, her eyes got stuck on Rosa as if she'd seen a ghost.
I sent my shield toward Shelein and Rosa took a shot. Shelein's hands moved so fast they were a blur. My shield hit me in the jaw and knocked me onto my back while Rosa's own bullet went through her right thigh.
Rosa hissed through her teeth, "SHIT!"
Shelein growled. "You idiots! Now I have to risk nicking your arteries."
Two ball bearings floated out of a pouch on Shelein's side as Ezzie yelled, "NO!"
Then, an imperceptible fraction of a second later, there was a hole in my right thigh.
"FUCK!" I yelled as I grabbed at the wound. Val cried out in surprise as she fell to the ground. It looked like some of the enchanted chainmail was buried in in our legs.
Rosa called out on the radio. "We've got four wounded."
"Medics en route," an airy female voice said.
Shock gave way to pain. It felt like someone had taken a hatchet to my lower jaw and like there was an angry wasp was trapped in my leg and was trying to sting its way out.
Shelein turned her attention back to Ezzie. In Ezzie's tail was one of the poles Shelein had bashed her with and as Shelein tried to dodge, Ezzie made a quick "come here" motion with her left forepaw. Shelein's left foot refused to move keeping her stuck in place. As the pole hit Shelein's side, Shelein made a gesture with her right hand. She got knocked off her feet, but there was no satisfying thud from the impact. Had she cushioned the blow somehow? Regained control of the pole at the last second? Was she invincible?
But even on the ground, with the wind knocked out of her, Shelein was a force of nature. She took the pole that Ezzie had hit her with and smacked Ezzie in the side so hard that I heard the crunch from twenty feet away. Ezzie hopped onto her feet, grabbed an abandoned suitcase, and rushed Shelein. Shelein rolled to her feet and sent a pole right into the same spot on Ezzie's side and blood started pouring out.
In that moment, I realized Ezzie was done for. Shelein hardly had a scratch on her. I don't know how many mist wolves Ezzie had fought in the airport, but I saw at least four other wolves bleeding on the floor of the entryway just beyond the glass. She must have had to fight them all off while dealing with Shelein.
It was hard to think through the searing pain from my jaw and leg, so I controlled my breathing and centered myself. I needed to figure out a way to help Ezzie. That look Shelein had given Rosa was strange. It was as if she was surprised to see Rosa there. Of course she knew Rosa would transform and there were viral Twitter videos of Rosa's transformation that she likely saw. Why would Rosa give her pause, then? It was almost as if Shelein didn't think Rosa belonged here. As if Rosa being here didn't fit into her plan. And Ezzie said Shelein wasn't good at dealing with being in a different form...I felt like I might have been grasping at straws, but it was all I had!
My fingers shook as I pushed the talk button on the FBI radio, "Are all the bystanders more than seventy feet from Rosa?" It hurt so much to talk that I nearly yelped in the middle of what I was saying.
A calm male voice said, "Affirmative."
Leaning toward Rosa, I said, "Focus on Ezzie." My stomach lurched from the agony of speaking.
"What?" she balked.
I reached into my purse and pulled out the controller for Rosa's AC-unit-turned-magic siphon. After pointing at Shelein, I put my finger on the power button and looked Rosa in the eye.
Rosa's ears went straight up, but then she nodded and looked at Ezzie.
I turned the magic suppressor off.
Everyone was in bucketloads of pain, except Professor Aumont. She gasped and groaned as she stumbled. Her breaths became moans of pleasure as she fell to her knees. Then a big bulge formed in her jeans. "No! NO! NO! NOOOOOH!" she said as she was forced to pull her pants off to let her swiftly-growing masculine equipment out. It was so cold outside that steam was rising from her crotch as she grabbed her new erection and started stroking.
Shelein's jacket tore as green fur covered her muzzle, and she struggled to get out of her clothes before they burst at the seams. Her rear demolished her khakis as she got dragon haunches and her back legs cracked and took on a feral shape. All the while, she couldn't stop stroking herself. As she got a tail, she put it to use on her exposed mare sex. I watched in awe as her breasts multiplied into an Ezzie-like eight pack.
I could feel the waves of arousal and magic, but Shelein had probably broken my jaw. And my leg was hurting so much that I felt sick. Rosa and Val were in more than enough pain to avoid falling prey to the field as well. Hobbling over to Shelein, Ezzie wrapped her tail around Shelein's back legs.
Eyes glazed over with lust, Shelein lifted her tail. "Mount me!"
Ezzie's tail lengthened so she could ensnare Shelein's forming forepaws. "No," Ezzie said, that one word dripping with disdain.
Val moved her chain to Shelein's forelimbs and wrapped it around them to make double sure Shelein wouldn't be doing any more telekinesis.
Rosa spoke into the radio. "I need four agents to secure the perp. Tell me when you're within a hundred feet of my location."
A couple minutes later, the agents were in place. Shelein looked nearly identical to Ezzie except for more bunny-like ears and a shorter muzzle. She was working on her second orgasm from tailing herself while Ezzie held her fast. She'd pressed herself up against Ezzie and Ezzie looked very unamused. If I hadn't known better, I would have thought Shelein was just a feral equine dragon in heat.
Rosa said to me, "Shut down the field."
I did so by turning Rosa's magic siphon on.
"Go! Go! Go!" Rosa chanted.
The agents got up to Shelein and set about hog tying her. Her complaints were interspersed with moans due to the lingering effects of Rosa's field.
Paramedics ran over to Ezzie first and started mummifying her in bandages. She was already starting to heal. Her nostrils had stopped bleeding and the open wound on her side looked smaller. I was glad she was getting tended to before us. She'd been beaten within an inch of her life.
Rosa, Val, and I were loaded on ambulances and taken to the hospital. I found out at the hospital that Shelein had indeed broken my lower jaw when she'd hit me with my shield. I had to write to communicate in the hospital. That is, until a fully healed Ezzie, still fluffy and feral, trotted into my room.
She cut her right pinky finger with a scalpel he held in her tail and then put her bleeding finger up to my lips. "Take in a bit of my blood so I can get you mended."
I scrunched my face at the metallic salty flavor as I played at being a vampire. After only a few sips, she healed the wound she'd made and laid her forepaws on me. "This will hurt, but I promise it will be less painful as the injuries themselves."
I nodded and then gave her a thumbs up.
As she lent me her regenerative powers, everything ached even though I'd gotten pain medication. It wasn't a sharp ache, it was more of a dull throb and the sensation of heat. The severity decreased over time and in ten minutes, there was no pain at all. Finding I could speak again, without agony, I said, "Thank you!"
She gave me a full body hug. "Thank you for saving my life."
I blushed. "I'm so glad it worked."
"It was equal parts clever and devious." She let me go.
"Heh, I'm a lot like Shelein, I guess." I shrugged.
"Well, maybe, but there's one big difference." She smirked. "You're not fucking evil."
* * * * *
The showdown with Shelein was trending on twitter the next day. People had captured some of Ezzie's fight with her on their phones while they were being evacuated. Ezzie had fought five mist wolves while taking nasty hits from Shelein. Airport security helped Ezzie by taking some impressive long shots at them. I watched Ezzie fight in awe of how she used her long tail to catch her opponents off guard. At one point, she got Shelein around waist and two mist wolves had to attack her in unison to get her to let go.
By the evening, I was sick of retweeting and responding to friends asking if I was okay. I was even desensitized to people liking and retweeting my tweets about what went down. I'd gained over four hundred followers in one day and my phone was a constant source of notification dings.
Everyone wanted five minutes of fame, but I wondered if any of them would still want it once they knew how exhausting it was. I had no idea what to do with the new followers I had. All they knew about me was that I was the anthro herm who was one of Shelein's first victims and had been there to stop her from creating an anthro herm epidemic. There were even people who were incredibly upset that I'd stopped Shelein. Many anthros and humans alike were actually on board with Shelein's plan. Those same people were sharing Shelein's impassioned speeches. The ones that scared me the most were the ones that were spreading the rumor that Shelein was a brilliant scientist who'd been framed. After a few battles with them, I just started blocking them wholesale. I just didn't have the time or energy to correct an army of people whose proof came from using suspect logic to tie random unrelated facts together.
Rosa was at the Chicago Field Office for the FBI. Ezzie was laying at Val's and my feet while watching Netflix with us. She was exhausted from trying to figure out how to fix herself so she could transform back. Though she kept saying she was fine, I suspected she still had some healing to do. Her libido had been greatly reduced and she had far less energy.
"Ezzie, are you sure you don't need to go back and get checked at the hospital?" I asked.
"I'm sure, I'm thinking I'll be fully healed within the next two hours." She smiled reassuringly.
Val stopped the show we were watching and sat up. "How did Shelein even manage to poke holes in you? The mist wolves had so much trouble piercing your hide that they gave up and switched to bludgeoning you really quick."
"Shelein can accelerate objects to velocities multiple times faster than a rifle round. Since the energy in a projectile is mass times velocity squared, that makes her telekinesis exponentially problematic. Plus, she uses tungsten carbide ball bearings which penetrate just about anything." Ezzie sighed. "There were over two dozen holes in me by the end of that fight."
"O-over t-two dozen?" My jaw dropped.
Ezzie nodded. "I was devoting a lot of energy to stopping the internal bleeding."
I got off the couch and hugged Ezzie. "You poor dragon."
"I hope she never gets out of jail. If I ever have to fight her again, it might be best to kill her." Ezzie laid her head on the floor.
Val got down and helped me hug Ezzie. "Honestly, that might be for the best."
"I don't like the idea of killing people...But she's so dangerous!" I said.
"Yeah...I don't want to think about it. Part of me still loves her. My heart is just too damn sentimental. I can't forget who she used to be, I can't stop hoping she'll remember who she was, you know?"
"Were you two a couple?" I asked.
Ezzie nodded. "I'll tell you the whole story some day, but right now, I'd like to change the subject if you don't mind."
"Are you going to be staying with us a while?" I asked.
"Only if you'll have me." Ezzie's left ear twitched due to the way we were petting her. "I'm thinking of taking a week off. I offered to transform Shelein back into her original form if she told me what exactly what she did to me. I figure she'll crack well before the week is out."
"Ahh, you don't think you can figure it out on your own?" I asked.
"Oh, I can, but it might take longer than a week because I'd have to go through every magic pathway etched in my bones and figure out which ones she modified. I'd find it eventually, but it's gonna get mind-meltingly tedious." Ezzie chuckled. It seemed more like a "fuck my life" chuckle than an amused one.
"Have you thought about just staying feral?" Val asked.
"Oh, I have, but the problem is that the whole human world was built without ferals in mind and I'm way more experienced at combat in my anthro form. Also, my libido is trouble enough when I'm not feral." Ezzie stretched out her forepaws as I scratched at her mane. It was so cute!
"Ahh, okay, well, I like you either way, but dang did it feel good to get knotted by you in this form." Val patted Ezzie's haunches.
I squirmed just thinking about it.
With a smirk, Ezzie asked, "Is that an observation or an invitation?"
"Both?" Val blushed.
Ezzie laughed, this time she sounded happy. "So, I take it you two won't mind me taking over your living room for a week?"
"So long as you put out." Val smacked Ezzie's rump getting her to rumble beneath us.
"You seriously want to stay with us? I mean, I'd love to have you, but don't you have other friends you haven't seen for a while?" I asked.
"One, traveling like this is a big hassle. Two, Shelein is being held not far from here. Three, I really really like you two and love being a slutty third wheel for people I ship." She wrapped her tail around me and Val and constricted it to pull us closer together.
Val laughed.
Blushing, I stammered out, "You...ship us?"
"Yes, I'm already writing fan fiction about you two in my head." She pulled us even closer together. "Now kiss."
Wrapped in Ezzie's tail, feeling butterflies in my stomach from her encouraging us to put on a show for her, I grabbed Val's antlers and made out with her. She toyed with my breasts as she fucked my mouth with her tongue. When my prick started pushing out of my sheath, she reached down and pulled the waist of my skirt down to let it out. Then she was stroking me while kissing me. Feeling Ezzie's warm body under us was a thrill and I was soon rubbing my crotch against her back.
We broke our kiss and turned toward the front door. Don clumsily entered carrying two pizza boxes. Rosa came in behind him holding an edible arrangement that had a big "Thank You" card stuck to it.
Don raised an eyebrow. "Did we interrupt something?"
Ezzie shook her head. "Nope, we weren't doing anything you could have interrupted, honest."
"Sure you weren't," Rosa said as she set the edible arrangement on the kitchen counter.
Don set the pizzas on the island and then pulled my key fob out of his pocket and handed it to me. "Sorry, forgot I had this. Hope it didn't make things too inconvenient."
I shrugged. "Nah, I knew you'd be done helping the FBI eventually."
"About that..." Don sat on the couch. "They've offered to hire me."
"Oh! Do you want the job?" I asked.
"I love data analytics and stopping people like Shelein, so it seems like a good fit," he said. "And it pays way better than working in a lab."
"Once you two graduate, I'll extend the same offer. I'm going to add more magic users to my unit and you two would be a good fit." Rosa sat down next to Don. She was wearing a suit that fit her new voluptuous body perfectly.
"Did you get that suit tailored in one day?" I asked.
Rosa blinked. "I just offered you a job at the FBI and that's your response?"
I grimaced.
After a short chuckle, Rosa said, "I did it right after I got out of the hospital. Wearing casual clothes at work just feels wrong to me."
"Ahh, will I have to wear a suit?" I asked.
"No, you can wear whatever semi-formal clothing you like." Rosa narrowed her eyes at me. "This can't be your biggest concern."
Val said, "Trust me, it matters, she has a thing about uncomfortable clothing."
"Why would anyone wear clothing that's not comfortable?" I defended myself.
"I may have to rethink hiring you. We prefer everyone is uncomfortable all the time," Rosa said with a straight face.
Ezzie laughed hard enough to bounce us atop her. It was raucous and and soon everyone else was laughing too. We'd all been caught off guard. We were finally getting to know what Rosa was like when she was not in the middle of a crisis.
When I recovered, I said, "Sure, I'm interested, but I'll also be looking at possibly working for the Council of Mages."
"That goes for me too, actually," Val said.
"What makes you two think the council would want you?" Ezzie asked wryly.
"Because you need a harem to keep you under control, you pervy dragon," Val quipped.
"Touche," Ezzie replied.
"We're actually working on a way to better share resources with the council, so you could end up being assets for both," Rosa said.
"Ooh, I'd like to be part of that," I said as Val nodded in agreement.
"So, were we right? Was Shelein sending people across the world who had been dosed with the serum?" Ezzie asked.
"Yeah, actually, and I worked for sixteen hours straight trying to identify all of them," Don replied.
I sat up in interest. "Did we catch all of them?"
"There's no way to know for sure." Don's ears drooped. "Turns out that that Shelein's fight with Ezzie was just another distraction. Some of the suspect travelers flew out before Shelein even arrived at the airport and a few hours later we discovered she was sending people out of Denver too. We had to catch some of those flights after they landed at their destination. Working with so many foreign governments really slowed us down."
"We caught fifty-eight people in all. If there's any we missed, I doubt it's more than a handful. The World Health Organization and the UN are on the lookout for transformation outbreaks." Rosa threw an arm over Don's shoulders. "I think we can finally relax."
"Don, can you get me data on the TF serum and Rosa's modifications? I'm assuming there's info on it still in her lab?" Ezzie asked.
"Already got it uploaded to a public repository," he said.
Ezzie nodded. "Good! I want to team up with everyone here to figure some stuff out over the next week. I'm hoping to give Rosa full control over her TF powers so we don't have to be constantly draining magic from her. Then, I want to figure out how to make serum carriers no longer contagious and change people back if that's what they want."
I asked Don, "Do you want to be changed back?"
He squirmed in his seat, wilting under the weight of everyone's curiosity. "Is it possible to go back and forth? Sometimes be my normal self, sometimes be like this?"
Ezzie nodded. "I'll make you a transmuter. You'll be able to be a herm giraffe whenever you like."
"That's what I want, then," he said with a slight smile.
"Oh, so you like being a herm?" I teased.
He blushed. "I-it offers experiences I would miss if they were suddenly unavailable."
"That's the most clinical response I've ever heard to that question," Ezzie said. "Congratulations."
His left ear flopped down as he tilted his head. "Thanks, I guess?"
"So, who wants some tasty fruit?" Rosa asked.
"I'm in the mood for some salty melon." Ezzie reached her tail between my legs and under my balls before flicking the end of it across my clit.
I gasped and then looked Ezzie in the eye. "Are you serious? You want to go at it right now?"
"I'm actually too tired." She pulled her tail away. "Just couldn't resist that joke."
We rolled our eyes at Ezzie.
Everyone agreed with her about being too tired to take sexual stuff all the way, so we just cuddled enjoying the food and conversation. Rosa and Don fell asleep on Val's bed while Ezzie slept on the couch.
Val and I retired to my bedroom. I got out my smaller and actually functional planetarium and turned it on. As we drifted through colorful nebulas, the solar system, and star fields from the safety of my bed, we held hands. The beauty of the cosmos and Val's warm hand in mine washed away the last bits of stress from the previous few days.
In the middle of the night, I woke up to Val's buttocks clenching rhythmically against my side. I sleepily reached for her ass to push her away so I could go back to sleep. The moment my hand was on her, she moaned and shuddered. That woke my dick up and I was half hard in seconds. I squeezed and fondled her ass while she thrust harder and harder into her hands. When my pussy started twitching, I tossed the covers off and rolled her onto her back.
"Mnnhh! Emma, I woke up thinking about how much I like you and then I started thinking about our first time together and...this happened." She stroked her cock for emphasis.
Straddling her hips, I said, "I've been thinking about how much I like you too. So, let's just talk about that while I have you inside me." I sat on her prick, gasping as it stretched me wider and wider. When I was parked against her loins, I said, "I want to be your girlfriend, but you piss me off sometimes."
She thrust up into me languidly, taking her time. "Yeah, I procrastinate about everything."
Feeling her throbbing inside me, I felt far less angry and petty. Maybe it had been too long since we'd fucked. Putting my hands on her breasts, I said, "And my response to that is to get naggy. Is there a better way for me to remind you?"
Her hands found my tits as she said, "Maybe just text me when you empty the dishwasher? I tend to filter out verbal stuff sometimes."
I leaned in and kissed her. We made out for a while, fondling each other's boobs and pinching at our nipples. I loved the sensation of having someone's cock in me while I toyed with their breasts. Breaking the kiss, I said, "So when you're focused on something, you don't really hear what I'm saying?"
Moving her hips in a little circle to make me moan, she said, "Yeah."
"I'm like that too." I bit her neck making her squirm under me.
She shuddered, so I bit harder making her cock throb and spurt pre inside me. I brought her right to the edge and then let up so I could continue the conversation.
"Do you have trouble cleaning things up?" I asked. "I don't mean to criticize, it just seems like you get overwhelmed or something."
"Yeah, I don't know how to organize things. I just kinda make piles, but I don't actually like them. I trip over them sometimes." She ran her fingers over my belly making me gasp.
"If I help you organize things initially, would you find it easier?" I reached behind myself and grabbed her nice big balls.
"Gah!" She pred more. "Yeah! That would be great. We should get me some shelves."
"We will!" I licked the underside of her muzzle lovingly. "I hope we can work things out, because I think I'm falling for you."
"Yeah, I'm feeling the same." She stopped moving for a moment. "Hey, could you just do one thing for me?"
"Oh? What do you need me to do?" My ears perked up in interest.
She took a deep breath. "Can you stop insinuating that I'm lazy? I hear it in how you talk about me, I hear it in the way you remind or chastise me. You're just repeating my self talk and it makes me feel like there's no use in trying to change. That people will always see me as lazy when I'm just struggling with depression."
"Oh, I'm so sorry." I hugged her. "I didn't realize how that made you feel."
Hugging me back, she said, "No one does. They just rag on lazy people never thinking about why they're lazy."
"You're right and I can do better," I said.
She started bucking her hips into me. "I want to share a bed with you every night. I wanna hold you when you're sad and laugh with you when you're happy. I wanna wake up and fuck you in the middle of the morning. I want you hiding boners in your classes thinking about all the naughty things we've done in public!"
Moving my hips in time with hers, I gasped out, "I want that too!"
She pushed me back so I was sitting upright and she could get in even deeper. "Good, now I want you to do one more thing for me: CUM REALLY HARD!"
I reached for my cock, but she batted my hand away, "No, I want you inside me while my cum is dripping from your cunt!" She hissed the last part due to her labored breathing.
I bit my right index finger to keep from screaming in animalistic arousal. The things she was saying, I nearly came just from hearing them uttered aloud.
She grabbed my hips and did a nice hard thrust. "Your pussy is the best pussy! It's the perfect amount of tightness even after being bored out by Ezzie."
"Mnh! I still can't believe your cock is as big as mine. I fucking love that it's almost too big for you!" I started bouncing myself on her dick, helping her shove into me as hard as possible. My heavy breasts were flailing on my chest as the bed complained under us.
"I'm gonna cum!" she said.
"Yes! Please! Cum inside me!" I came right then, trying to stifle my whoops of pleasure. Her taper and medial ring made the rippling of my pussy as I orgasmed feel utterly fantastic. I couldn't stop moving, it just felt so damn good!
She came right after, pulling me down and jamming herself upwards into me. Her hot spunk filled my passage as I spasmed around her. An urge took hold of me and I leaned down, put my lips around one of her nipples, and suckled. She yelped and thrust into me cumming even harder. I got a second peak out of it, my clit was rubbing against the base of her dick.
Just after she finished spurting inside me, she started pushing me off of her. "Get in my pussy. I want you so bad."
Her frantic need made me even harder and I got off of her before settling in between her legs. Grabbing them and putting them over my shoulders, I angled my prick under her balls and parted her passage with my taper. I groaned at how wet she was, how wonderful it felt to be enveloped by her pulsating warmth.
I gave her everything I had while her seed trickled down my thighs and her dick dribbled cum on her belly. She had to put her hands on the headboard to stop from sliding across the bed, but she still said, "Harder!"
Grunting from the effort, I gave it to her so hard that my balls were slapping her buttocks.
"Yes! Rut me like a stag!" She said.
Grabbing her ass, I lifted her rear off the bed so I had an even better angle for jackhammering her. Under a minute later, I growled and continued thrusting as I unleashed a sticky torrent inside her, I wanted her to cum with me.
"YES! EMMA! YEEEEESSSSS!" she cheered as her wetness drenched my crotch. She groped her tits roughly as she came arching her back and whacking her antlers against the headboard.
My eyes rolled back in my head as I got dizzy from orgasming so thoroughly. All I could feel was her body undulating around my shaft. Then, as she was coming down from her peak, my hands roamed across every luscious curve on her body still oblivious to everything but us. When the rest of the world came back into my perception, I leaned down and kissed her passionately. We stayed like that until my dick was all the way back in my sheath. Then I was just laying atop her, my breasts pressed against hers.
"Emma?" she said.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"Wanna double team Ezzie in the morning?"
"Maybe we could have her wake up to both of us giving her oral at the same time," I said.
Gently moving my hair out of my face, she said, "You know the thing I like the most about us?"
"Oh?"
"We make a really good team."
Nuzzling her cheek, I said, "Yes, yes we do."

I'm so glad to hear you liked it. I've never done a plot quite like this one and am delighted it worked!

A fantastic end to an epic series. I definitely enjoyed it! And I loved the end with Val and Emma working things out. Great job!
