Removed Story Content (2021/12/31)
🕑 Added 2021-12-30 19:28:46 +0000 UTCI got an email earlier today from Patreon to the effect that several of my stories (three of the most recent four specifically listed in the complaint) were seen as being in violation of the present content policy. I will make every effort to comply with these restrictions, including going back and deleting all stories from this Patreon (as well as two posts linking to smashwords sale pages), effective immediately. Apologies to people who are unable to access content as a result.
As you are probably aware, I was planning on closing down this page at the end of January 2022. At present, that is still the plan. I am no longer sure if I'll be doing any kind of polling through the platform at this time.
Excerpted from the relevant notice:
"Per our guidelines, we have zero tolerance for the glorification of sexual violence, and this includes depictions of sexualized minors, non-consensual sex, incest, and bestiality. This extends to any shota or loli content since this type of content exclusively references characters who are minors.
Content glorifying sexual violence cannot be funded by or linked to or from your creator page in any way. Please remove this type of content from your page and let me know when you have done so."

No kidding. My decision to phase out the patreon wasn't necessarily specific to any particular content purge wave, and rules are rules. That said, there's a general trend on the internet towards a website opening up strong and becoming gradually less creator+user friendly as profit (via features that drive up "engagement", more aggressive data collection, a bias toward bigger/established clients, or more nudging to fit in with existing socioeconomic power structures) becomes more of a motivating factor. It's a cycle that has repeated many times with many different sites. In some ways, it's a milestone to see my content achieve enough relevancy to finally fit behind the eight ball here.
